We are using .Net 2.0 Web Services. I am looking for a way to get hold of Request/Response XML sent by .net.

If I run a bookmarklet (which contain a java script), it will auto fill up a webpage contain two text box named T1 and T2. But if a webpage containing two or more frames and any of these frames contain T1 and T2 text box then it does not work. The bookmarklet runs an external java script named fill.js from any where. So please any body provide help for bookmarklet java script that will fill up text box data automatically in multi frame webpage
The bookmarklet run could be something like this:---

I've done a lot of server-side regular expressions (including with .NET), but when it comes to Javascript regular expressions, they don't seem to follow the same rules.
I've narrowed down a current issue to be that the Javascript Regular expression evaluator doesn't interpret '\d' to mean a digit, so I made a quick fix by simply inserting in '[0123456789]' instead, which fixed the issue.
Am I doing something incredibly dumb, or is the standard for regular expressions in Javascript actually different?

There are some differences, although you can force .NET's Regex engine into Javascript compatibility by using the ECMAScript option:

If you have questions on the behavior of a specific expression, post the expression along with enough target text to reproduce the behavior you are concerned about.

Use the onkeypress event. Call a javascript function on this event which chekcs the key code. If this do not want this character return blur()

Hi all
I am interested in developing a small, simple web server. I want to be able to exchange data between a server and a client via html (or unless some one knows of a better way of doing it without installing any client side apps, lie active x for example). The server will also need to be able to generate html pages containing information based on its current understanding of that data.
The data wil consist of strings and check box data, as well as commands via buttons.
Perhaps there are some god articles on CP that some one knows about and can point me in the direction of.

Thanks, its interesting what it shows up. I think, after digging in alittle deeper, that what I actually need is a small, single threaded http server to start with, and then possibly I will have to add the data passing (unless it can be done entirely with html) functionality, perhaps CGI? Dont know, I have very little knowledge in this area.

What is the problem in using existing web servers such as Microsoft's IIS or Apache. You made mention of CGI, are you thinking of running an executable (an EXE or DLL) to process data ? If so, either IIS or Apache can run such CGI's. Just program the CGI with the functionality you need in whatever language you choose (Pascal/C++ etc). I not absolutely certain if I still got, but I used to have some Borland literature on this subject, it is some years since I last did Borland related stuff.
