Very vague post. What do you mean by converting from Foxpro to Access? You need to create the same kind of table structure in Access that is in the Foxpro database, then export out of Foxpro and import into Access. This is a very straightforward task

I am writing a code in vb.net 3.5 which send a Xml data through smtp mail.
my code is :

But when I receive that email I found some funny character like "=OD=OA.. ==" in my received Email
My question is how can I solve this type of problem?How can I remove these character? or using some encoding scheme

You are receiving 0x0d,0xoA .., i mean vbcr,vblf that is carriage return and line feed. i think that is not a extra data. change the encoding to slove this problem. use normal ascii encoding .

You shouldn't try to remove these characters. Instead you should not put them there in the first place.
In other words, it looks like you are formatting your string, before you are sending it through your code.
When you build your string, you put in enters or line feeds or some other "invisible" character like that:
<Sql>[enter]
<Update Table="LocationMaster" IDColumnName="LocationId">[enter]
<IsFixed>false</IsFixed>[enter]
<etc></etc>
However XML does not need this formatting. It's only use is to make it readable for the developer. The code that receives the email does not care about the formatting.
Leave any enter characters out of the string, so it becomes something like this:
<Sql><Update Table="LocationMaster" IDColumnName="LocationId"><IsFixed>false</IsFixed>etc.

look at the xml update table =3D.....
a character 3D is appeared in the xml file

As =3D is the = character, it's not very easy to remove from the xml code...

That is the = character encoded using quoted-printable, just as carrege return is encoded as =0D and line feed is encoded as =0A.
The problem is that the body of the mail is encoded using quoted-printable, but whatever you use to read the mail doesn't understand that it is.
There is one solution and one work-around. You can either use something that can decode the mail correctly (either by changing some settings in your current tool or use another tool), or change how the mail is encoded when it's created so that it's encoded using something that your mail reader understands.
Despite everything, the person most likely to be fooling you next is yourself.

I can create a RTB with a transparent background, but I cannot get the text to display, I assume because userpaint is enabled. But how do I get the display text functionality of a normal rtb and the transparency? I need the user to be able to type in the RTB and manipulate the text, change fonts, etc.

I believe if you search this site, you will find a richtextbox that has a custom background. That article might be able to help you with the conundrum.

Use a timer and when the specified timer is reached do me.close.

I would like to insert, add, update, and delete record in VB9 using codes and not the datagrid. I have tried this but I am getting an error saying that I must use the InsertCommand. How is that done. I appreciate you assistance in advance.

It sounds like you need some basic background on the subject. You could try searching the Code Project Articles[^]. I found this[^] one there, and it might be sort of what you are looking for. Or even a Google[^] search.

This is a pretty odd problem, so I'm listing the steps here precisely as to what I am doing.
Setup: I have a command line window and a windows explorer window open (both windows are expanded to take a decent amount of space.
I have a VB winform app with Form1 set with a yellow background. Through this form, I can use various buttons that launch other forms modally (using .ShowDialog).
1. I compile the app and the main form is displayed maximized.
2. I minimize visual studio.
3. From the taskbar in order, I select Windows explorer, the command window, and then my app.
4. I press a button to open a modal form (any child form); when the child form is initially displayed, there is no problem.
5. When I press a button on the child form to close it, for a very brief time, I can see the windows explorer and command window in the back ground (like the main form is blinking for a second while painting). On a fast system it is hardly noticable. On the other hand, on a slower system, its quite noticable.
Anyone run into this before? It's so frickin hard to figure out what is causing this bleeding of screens.
I created another test app where it's just 1 form calling another (same scenario) and it doesn't occur. No logic other than display and hiding the child form.
Any suggestions, ideas, or 'constructive criticism' are always welcome.
