Hi All,
I am required to switch from Integrated widows authentication to basic authentication, when the integrated authentication fails.
Does any one have any idea about the same??
Need help ASAP.

I am relatively new to programming in .net.I want to know that what is the correct way of creating an application in .net
1) create a new website on file system and do the further programming(adding pages, writing code...) etc. without creating a virtual directory
or
2) create a new website on file system, then opening IIS and creating a virtual directory and then proceed
Now the doubt is after creating a virtual directory i should open my website from file system for coding or i should open it from selecting it from local IIS (out of 4 options option from open website dialog box)
can anyone please guide me how to get started with my first website in .net????

Create a web application using visual studio or VWD.
Create a virtual directory and link that with the folder location on your drive.
Then start coding!

Most people frown on doing website/code editing from the production equipment. So any modifications you make should be done from your workstation, then transferred to the server.
This is really just a personal preference, but I find it helps to develop the good habits early.

Hi,
One of my company websites has losed the TabIndex order.So when the user enter his username and password then press enter the focus is given to a search button and the search page opens.
It was working fine for along time.I uploaded the website files again but the problem still exist.Could any one help?

I think you have to check the entire application once again in local and try any exceptions are going or not.

No you cannot get the hidden control in java script because when it rendered into html it check its visibility property.

Hi guys Good Morning,
I am collecting some datas from my enduser...,
Using textbox and gridview...,
if the datas only from textbox we can send that directly to storedprocedure and execute it,
But in my case some datas are coming from textbox and gridview(Using viewstate first i stored in to Gridview)...,
Now how to pass this text box values and one datatable records to stored procedure using SqlCommand parameter?,

Its not what i asked...,
Actual probs is i have some fields in textbox and some values in datatable...,
Now this all the values i have to pass it in to my stored procedure at a time,
and there it have to execute...,
Ex:
2 textbox values:
100, Tester
Datatable values:
ID Deg Year
100 MCA 2007
100 MBA 2005
Like this is there...,
Now this all the values have to pass to stored procedure at a time
& "The 100, Tester have to insert in to Table1, same time The ID,Deg,Year datatable values have to insert in to table2...,
This what i asked....,
