Hi,
I have a ASP.Net 1.1 solution which contains 4 Projects, which are inter-dependent
when I make each independed(total 4)Virtual Directoried and run
the application , I couldn't able to debug the application properly
when I make 'Main' as StartUP Project, I can only debug main Project and if the 'Main' Project is calling some other that calling file is not debugging(It says no source code found) when I checked in Debegu-->Module
it shows only one project debug symbols are loaded.
I am facing problems with dll's which are generating first time, and from second time(when I chanche code)the new code is not effecting..
Plase help me,

Its beacuse your newly created DLLs are not getting refreshed do following things
1. Remove the refered dll's and then add by browsing the project
2. Restart IIS
3. Delete all temp files generted in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files
Now try to run the application.

If they are present in same solution then make sure PDB(Program debug Database) Files are also present
Also make sure that appication Configuration they are running in Debbug mode

Hi, i am doing integration project with CRM and AX. using .net i have build one windows service which contains some class files. now i want to open a new window(small window) from these cs files. but i have no option found in class files to open a window.
I am poor in windows applications. can any one help, how can i open a new window. The calss contains a code that inserts a data into database. whenever data is inserted a popup window will appear

In Solution Explorer, right click on project and select add reference. Find the dll that you want to use and select it, and add it as a refernce.

But i got an error like no type libraries were found in the component.

Hi,
- Right Click the Solution Explorer
- Click Add Reference
- Go to Browse tab
- Select the dll from the location where you have saved in your mechine.
- Click OK

Hi i searched in google for empty gridview with footer template column using view state...,

I like to show empty gridview with header and footer template column...,
And using footer template column i have to add datas to gridview using view state...,
And in that edit and delete operation also need
Finally all the datas have to store in to database...,
How to acheive this,

Its not helpfull for me,
Becoz they used datasource for gridview..,
I am using viewstate to add datas to my gridview...,
Finally all the gridview datas i am passing to database

Sorry couldn't help. My View State side of things is a bit bad, so can't really help you.

Hi,
I have webform 'Form1.aspx' in that i have placed a some textbox controls ,some labels and fileupload control. Finally some buttons : btn_Upload, btn_Show etc.
I used ajax update panel to upload a file(btn_UploadClick()).
In btn_ShowClick() i am transefering page to 'Form2.aspx'
by Response.Redirect("Form2.aspx?path="+uploadfilepathhere, false);
In Form2.aspx i have a image control and a LinkButton 'Back'. I set property PostBackClientUrl : javascript:history.go(-1)
In Image Control i am showing uploaded image to user .

i entered some text in textboxes, and uoloaded a file.
When i Click on btn_Show. the page is transefered to Form2.aspx, there the uploaded image is shown. Untill here every thing is fine.
But when Click on Back_LinkButton, i could not able to see the Form1.aspx.
It Displaying message like : Web page has expired.
Most likely cause:
The local copy of this webpage is out of date, and the website requires that you download it again.
But when click on refresh of browser ,i could see the Form1.aspx with all values which i entered previously here.
How to solve this page expiry problem.
please suggest me.

Why not just have is the PostBackClientUrl : "~/Form1.aspx" thats if Form1 is in the same Dir.
This will PostBack to the Form1 and Load the page.
Please try not to Name Your Pages Form1/2.aspx, try give them a meaningfull name.
Its always best to start good programming practices early on.

Thanks for your suggestion. But i can't use this, because it i have keep old values which i entered in Form1.aspx as it is.
If i use PostBackClientUrl : "~/Form1.aspx", then i can see the Form1.aspx, but i can't see the previously entered values.
Is there any other way ...

Then why can't you do this on one page.
It would make you life a lot easier.
Just dump the contents that is in Form2.aspx into a panel in Form1.
Set Visible to fasle and once the button has been clicked just make it Visible.
Will save you a lot of trouble. The only other way is if you store all the values in Session variables.

I Placed a ImageControl, btn_PnlClose. design into Panel 'PNL'.set Visibility : False
I used update panel to upload a file using fileupload control.
Form1.aspx:

When i build this, its successful.
But when i run this, When i click on btn_Show i got javascript runtime errors as posted in previous reply.

This seems weird because I have a page on my application which uses an update panel. The update panel contains a grdiview and a user can click on a row in the gridview to go to another page. On the other page I put a back button with the same code as yours and it went back fin, or be it with the page being reset.Can you explain anymore about your problem like what code is runnign on the first page
