Hi I want to upload an image but I should not use <asp:fileupload control="" since="" it="" shows="" a="" text="" box="" and="" button.="" but="" i="" want="" to="" upload="" file="" on="" button="" click="" or="" image="" click.="" xmlns:asp="#unknown">

I was using

<asp:fileupload id="UserImageUpload" runat="server" width="250" cssclass="uploadImage">

to upload an image and the code behind uses this control to send the uploadButtonEventArgs to one of other methods.

But now I need a single image button to upload an image on the click of image button

doXtop.Framework.UI.Controls.UploadButtonEventArgs uploadButtonControl = new doXtop.Framework.UI.Controls.UploadButtonEventArgs(this.UserImageUpload);

if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(uploadButtonControl.FileUploadControl.PostedFile.FileName))
this.UploadUserImage(uploadButtonControl);

Any Ideas please!!!

Hi,

In local environment my ASP.NET web application is fast, same code is moved to production environment it is very slow.

In production we have implemented https. and load balancing servers. How to rectify.

I wrote the following code in global.asax

void Application_Error(Object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// Log all unhandled errors

Utilities.LogError(Server.GetLastError());
}

and the line Utilities.LogError(Server.GetLastError()); is giving error that Utilities does not contain a definition for LogError.
Although i have written this from a book i m following. plz help me how to remove this error.

Check whether LogError method is private. If you do not specify any access modifier, it is private by default.

Hi,

I am using cookiless form authentication. the session ID's are generated and inserted in the query string by the system. When two users access the same page very first time, they get the proper page with their correct session Ids. But during the post back User1 gets User2 page .

How to prevent this problem ? Has any body experienced this behaviour.

Hi All,

I am using Ajax Enabled Website in my Project

in that I am using the FileUpload Control.

in the Insertion time I am unable to Upload any document

while in the case of editing I am successfully uploading any document.

What is the reason for this?

Please help me out

How to Upload a document during the Insertion time too.

is there any properties i have to set for the Script Manager or to UpdatePanel ?

I remember having a similar problem when using ajax and the fileupload control. I solved this by saving the fileupload path using viewstate to preserve the filename and path. That may help you...? Smile | :)

upload control works in javascript when you keep your upload control in update panel then script manager ovreride the javascript function of upload control .

so find ajax enable upload control in google.

Hi,

After LoggingIn successfully, if I click the Back button, I am coming out of that partiucalr page. Again If I click the Previous button It is allowing me to access that page wiht out asking password and userId....

How to overcome this problem..?

Hi,

I am using Pring Button in my webpage......

when I click the print button In my print out it is printing buttons also.

My requirement is I don't want to print the buttons on paper.

finally I want to hide the buttons when I click the print option.

Use a css style set for the print media mode. Something like this:

.css file:

@media print {
    .hideOnPrint { display: none;}
  }

.aspx file:

<asp:Button id="..." runat="server" CssClass="hideOnPrint" ... />

As you all know, when you write a query like:
select * from TableName
where Column01 = 'value';

it retrieves the rows that are related to the column Column01.
What I need is:
I want to retrieve all the rows in the table when I pass some value in the Column01.
I mean: retrieve all the table data when I say in the query : where Column01 = '100'
The value '100' is unique for this purpose to retrieve all table data.

Any ideas plz... Frown | :(

Hi,

When I update a Particular row with some value in sql table(letus consider Emp1) that row should be inserted inot another table (consider Emp2) and should be deleted from Emp1.

For this I want to write a Trigger.......How..?

Exact requirement::

I have Emp1(Id,Name,Desig) table.

When I update a particualr row where Id='3' Then only.....

1.Particular row which is update with Id value '3' should be inserted into the Emp2(Id,Name,Desig) table. And
2. After inserting into the Emp2 The row should be deleted from Emp1.
