You can physically store your resumes which are doc,pdf file in some server location. In database you can store the path of those document only. 2. Store doc, pdf files into DB. For this you have to take a BLOB column like column of VARBINARY. You have to convert those doc or pdf file into stream(bytes array) and can store into VARBINARY column. Upto you which one you are going to use per your need!!! For a control that dont need data filtering (like a list of category) I can retrieve data just fine. But I've got problem with a control that need input parameters, everytime I try to get the parameterValue (I use ParameterCollection for this purpose), it's always return nothing. Could somebody please tell me how to create a custom server control with SQLDataSource embed, so I can retrieve and filter the data without adding a SQLDatasource on page. Any help would be appreciated.
