Hi...
I am having datagrid. In that i have button column in all the rows. Now on click of button column, grid's DeleteCommand event gets called. But i want to show the no of records affected by deleting and if user press ok , then only this Delete Command should perform delete operation.
How to do this... Plz help...

You should use a confirm extender control which is ajax.

Instead of putting delete button on each row, you can put a check box on each row so that you will get a list of records to be deleted or modified. If you put delete button on each row, there will be only one record for delete at a time.

I am retriving metadata from database .
user can schedule the datetime and status(daily ,weekly,monthly,yearly).
based on this information scheduling will be started and retriving the metadata by using threads.

Dear All,
I have a grid view in my application, which contains child grid for each and every row bounded to it.
I want to have paging in the child grid and I have assigned an event handler for it in the code while binding it to the main grid.
But it is not triggered.
Can any one help me to resolve this issue?

i receive a value on form from mobile device i get xml and image in mime type which can be .jpeg, .png or any thing else picture format. i am parsing xml and store in database and now i have a problem that how i can change picture in original format from mime type file.

i have a mater page and i create all menu in a href link (all in td tag) which open a new page. when i click like home then i want use java script on onclick event of that link a background image of td is changed.

i want to know i use javascript for master page control like i made a table for my menu box and there i show a href link and i want that when user click on link like home then home should be look like clicked means there will be a image in background of that a href and all not have that image but when that menu is called then there will be a image.

However, I don't really think that this really is what you meant. It doesn't make much sense to have a menu that doesn't do anything other than change it's apperance.

i have a master page there is a menu bar which is created in table and all td have an a href tag of html. there are five td name home, contact, profile, portfolio etc. now when i click contact then i want that contact page open but image will be apper which show that this time contact button is clicked.

As I expected, this is not at all what you asked for first, and Javascript is not the solution.
Add runat="server" and an ID to the table cells so that you can access them from server code. In the code behind of the master page check what page you are on (Page.Url) and set the background on the corresponding cell.

i have a form and there i received xml and mime type file which is a picture and picture type may be jpeg, png or other type. i want to convert all xml through parsing but now i would like to convert that picture in original format how can i do this with asp.net using c#.
