well in most cases the router is your gateway... all you need to do is tell it...
"Hey, if you get a request from the internet on port 1234, forward the request to 10.0.0.123 on my private network because the service is located there"

nope
if your application works over a network you dont need to add any code to make it work over the internet. because the internet is a network not very different from a local area network.
you just need to set up the routers port forwarding on the servers connection

we are sharing files over msn messenger. how is it working? actually, we reach the pc over Internet. what does msn say the gateway to pass packets?

the host for MSN's services administrate their network, they buy a static IP, maintain the network, set up routers, replace servers, etc
any web host is like that... even if it were possible to setup a router problematically, they are all different, so youll have to write code to do that for every model type you MIGHT encouter... can you see where this is going?

Hi
In my project I have quite a few User controls. A lot of them have same methods so I could really use the functionality of inheritance. The problem is that if I create a UserControl that extends my UserControl, and not the base UserControl, I have troubles with that partial class that is generated by the VS2008(class.g.cs) becouse that class extends base UserControl. Even if I fix this, the next time I change something in the designer the VS re-generates that class. By the way I am using WPF. Does anybody know how I could fix this? Any idea will be appreciated.

You can avoid reimplementing the same methods for each control by defining a new class that has the common methods. Then include an instance of this class in each control, and invoke this instance for each common method.
It's a way of getting around the lack of multiple inheritance in C#.

I am using c# windows application to store unicode text (other than English) in mysql 5.1 database.
I am using ODBC Connector 3.50.
when I try to insert a unicode text in database it stores as ?????????.
insert into dbName(unicdeText)values('?????');
Please help me to solve this query.

What is the data type of the field into which you are trying to store this data?

I am having varchar data type in mysql databsae.
there is no data type such as nvarchar

Is it possible to deserialize an object that was previously serialzed under different namespace.
Let me try to explain this using some code:
namespace OldNamespace
{
[Serializable]
public class Class1
{
.....
}
}
Now I have moved the class to a different namespace.
namespace NewNamespace
{
[Serializable]
public class Class1
{
.....<same declaration="">
}
}</same>
The problem is that now I can't deserialize objects that were previously serialized using old code. Is their a way out.
Here's the error I get: Unable to load type OldNamespace.Class1 required for deserialization.

I have two questions
1.I have a 2 diffrent forms. From one form to another how can switch?
let say I have button control to go for it.
2.I have a Datatable and want show each row data on a different label control.
So each row shoul be displayed on o different group of label controls.
Can I bind in this way, how? Currently I am reading each row data and displaying
on label controls.
