You can change the dialog caption. Do Rightclick->Properties->General->Caption.
and if you want to chnage the dialog caption dynamically you can call SetWindowText() fucntion with window caption as parameter.

I have list control class derived from CListCtrl. I have mapped the WM_LBUTTONUP message in my list control class. But when i am clicking on list control i am not getting WM_LBUTTONUP event, ie OnLButtonUp handler is not invoked. But when i am double clicking in the list control OnLButtonUp handler is invoking. Can anybody help me to solve this?

Use ON_WM_LBUTTONDOWN. Its working if the left mouse button is down.

I am sorry and thank you for your answer. Actually I got this problem last week and solved it by using WM_LBUTTONDOWN. Actually I want to know why the above mentioned problem happens with WM_LBUTTONUP? Could you please tell me?

Hello all,
I want to make an application that can convert PCMU data to MP3.I am able to do it using files but i want to do it as online(packet by packet).
My program uses lame MP3 encoder to conver PCMU to MP3.
Is there anybody who can help me out on this?
I dont know whether i am putting question in right forum or not.

How to do it?
Help says use RenderStream() twice:
hr = m_pCapture->RenderStream(&PIN_CATEGORY_PREVIEW, &MEDIATYPE_Video, pSrcFilter, NULL, NULL);
hr = m_pCapture->RenderStream(&PIN_CATEGORY_CAPTURE, &MEDIATYPE_Video, pSrcFilter, pEncoder, pMux);
But the second call to it always fail, so it could be either preview or capture.

the same document [^]says, "If the filter has only a capture pin, the Capture Graph Builder uses the Smart Tee filter to split the capture stream".
May be the capture filter has only one capture pin, check the hr, error code might be VFW_S_NOPREVIEWPIN.

But it works as either preview or capture, but not them together. The cam is acer laptop web cam. I need something generic to capture and preview at the same time

yes, you need to check the error code, BTW, Graphedit tool can be used to check the graph building, may the intermediate and mux filters are not connecting in the second statement.

Hi, i have a problem with an ActiveX Control that was developped in VS C++ 2005 using MFC. It works perfect in C++,VB, ActiveX Testcontainer. All events are fired proberbly (using FireEvent). Now we have to develop a program in Access 2000 and we need this control there. All methods work fine, but not a single event is fired in Access, not even a OnMouseMove event. Does anyone have similar experiences and possible solutions?

cout is part of the std namespace, so either write std::cout or put a using namespace std on top of your file (after the header file inclusion).
Another point: conio.h and stdio.h are for C. If you are using cout (which is part of the C++ standard library), you should #include <iostream> instead.
