Why is "Article search engine working 100%" listed as a current bug? Do you intend to goose it up to 110%, like they did to the reactor in Red October? Or do you just want to see if anyone is reading that post?

We need a Software Review article category. Backup software, icon sets, disk imaging, icon editors, registry cleaners, anti-virus and firewalls - these are just a few of the many repeat requests for recommendations that come up in the Lounge.
To relieve heartburn of your advertising staff, you can stipulate that only positive recommendations will be accepted, after review by CP staff (in other words, no MC-style rants).

A negative review should be allowed if it is present with an equal comparison and presented in a professional manner. For instance, comparison between two products to determine which product is better. You might have a negative for one of the two reviewed.
But I agree, I don't want to see 300+ "my OS is better than your OS" articles.

Putting it the other way -- How about a category in the Articles as 'Book Review'. Wouldn't that be reaching each book of interest in much greater depth.

I agree, and I think it should be a new article category, not just a new forum, so there could be different sub-categories of books.

There is a reply I and leckey have posted. Now replies to leckey are showing as replies to my thread. Taking it one step further, the second level reply of mine is shown as-if I have replied to my own thread.
I deleted my message and created again but to no avail. A little while before, I got an error message "There was an error inserting your message". Is the server facing any issue?

In a fit of insanity, in response to my catching a return of the misthreaded reply bug, Chris said the current design should have made it "Impossible". I'd expect to see massive threading corruption over the new few weeks in response.
You know, every time I tried to win a bar-bet about being able to count to 1000 using my fingers I always got punched out when I reached 4....
