I'm a computer science student. Now I'd like to upload the picture in my Pocket PC to network
(web application (PHP)).
You have any guildline for me about the above application.

Webservice would be really easy
Create a webservice that acceps a bytearray and a name
Then save the bytearray with the name
I dont know php, but i guess there must be something like bytearray in ASP
If not, witch to ASP.NET

I am writing an installer for my Windows Mobile Application. My application requires CF2 SP2. As that is not included in Windows Mobile 5, I presume I need to distribute it. I don't know what files to include and where to get them. I know how to (and have already of course) install it on my Windows PC, and how to set Visual Studio to automatically deploy it when I debug my projekt, but doesn't help my customers...
Anyone?

Hello everybody.
I have an application for pocked PC for windows mobile 5.0 and I want to run it on a laptop computer running windows XP, without visual studio.
In order to run the application, I've installed the following:
The stand alone emulator.
Install the virtual network driver.
Install the images for windows mobile.
Install ActiveSync.
I need the internet connection to download the application files, but i can not establish an internet connection. Can anyone tell me what should I do to realize the connection?

It amazes me why people ask such lame questions, which with 10-30 minutes of research using google that could find an answer and solution and learn something in the mix at the same time.
Are they just lazy and want to be spoon fed?  . One of the reasons I'm reluctant to answer messages in the dev. forums.

Maybe they are not lazy, maybe they try the solutions they found but something is wrong. Because guess what: it does not work. i may be stupid or i just make a mistake in following the steps and i can't figure it out and I've asked for help. If you are so smart you tell me what i did wrong. But if you just want to make other stupid, just shut up.

How is this a programming question?
People ask here all the time stuff like 'how to install VS05 and VS08 side-by-side' or Vista-related issues without getting low votes, even though we have a VS forum and a Vista forum.
I think you just overreacted.

Where does the line get drawn, it's the lounge and there are suitable fourms to post, hardware questions, programming questions, Mobile Development.
Maybe the wording "No programming questions in the lounge" should be chnaged to "Please post your topic to the relevent forum".

Unfortunately your question was nothing to do with Beer or Rum consumption so I am not qualified to answer nor do I have a clue about Mobile 50 anything.

It wasn't a f***ing programming question. It was one of those technical but not programming questions Chris wants asked in the Lounge.

Asking on the Mobile Development forum would have been better, but it's not really a programming question.
The stand-alone emulator should have created a connection called DMA in ActiveSync. Open ActiveSync, go to File, Connection Settings. Check that 'Allow connections to one of the following' is checked and ensure that DMA is selected in the drop-down list (the other entries will be serial ports).
From the start menu on your PC, select Device Emulator Manager. In the tree of emulators, right-click the one you want to connect to ActiveSync and select Connect, to start it if it isn't already started. Then, right-click again once it's started and select Cradle. Your emulator should now be connected via ActiveSync and you should be able to install your application using ActiveSync's Explore feature.
Do check that you're running the right version of the emulator - it's got progressively better. The current version is version 3.0 which came with Visual Studio 2008 - you can download it separately here[^].
