Hello,

When I try to add a web reference in Visual studio 2005.

Below operation do not happen:
A WSE-enabled proxy class is added to the project

I just have two files in the Webreference folder:
wsdl and disco map.

Clearing javascript cache in IE7

Is there a special trick to clearing a javascript cache in IE7?

I have tried deleting all files through IE, deleting the temporary asp.net files, rebooting the machine - it still runs the old code.

If I call the page from another machine running IE6, it runs the new code.

Googling shows up some pretty weird stuff that has not helped...

Have you tried holding CTRL+SHIFT on your keyboard while pressing the refresh button at the top?

Ok try selecting tools --> internet options --> settings (under browsing history) --> select the option every time you visit --> set disk size to 8 also you can then click on the advanced tab under security check the box Empty temporary internet files folder every time browser is closed

The simple way to do this is to set the height and width properties of the IMG element. However, the images will still be the same number of bytes. So if you need to resize the images physically you'll have to write a routine to either create thumbnail copies of each of your images and store them along with the original images or to dynamically resize them before displaying them. I am trying to attach a signature with the proxy and trying to do some operation like below:

Looks like you've encapsulated your database logic well enough that you should only need to update your queryRows method and your setConnectionString method. There isn't any difference in your code that you've posted. Lookup SqlConnection and SqlCommand for a good start on how to rewrite your methods.

As an aside, this is really bad practice for any application regardless of wither it's Access or SQL Server.

Instead you should do the following:

If you are using SQL Server pass this to the SqlCommand object. If you're using Access use OleDbCommand. Also, when you're updating data you're open to cross-site scripting attacks (XSS) unless you sanitize the data you get from the user using either Server.UrlEncode or Server.HtmlEncode. like this:

I didn't see any examples of how you're updating data in your code above, but seeing your queries makes me think you aren't sanitizing your inputs either.

Hi, I kind figure out the problem why the FormsAuthentication cookie can't be set, because just after the authentication it brings me back to the same page with the message that my session has been expired.

Lets see my webconfig.

The state=Timeout is caught to show an alert saying that the session has been timed out

The code that i use just after a successful authentication:

After a successfull authentication I don't get directed to the Home.aspx page.

Your call to Response.Redirect doesn't get called because you're calling RedirectFromLoginPage before it. Do something like this:

FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(....)<br />

You don't need to do anything special to use cookies. Calling RedirectFromLoginPage will set the user's cookie and the FormsAuthentication module will take care of managing the session ticket in the cookie.

And if you're session is still timing out, set your timeout to something more than 1 minute. 30 minutes is the default. 1 minute will never work in a real application, it would only be valid for testing what happens when the session times out. Well i tried it, I've set the timeout to 55 minutes, added the defaultUrl and the cookieless attribute.

I changed all my code to that single line FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(email, false)

Well i can't seem to get it work, it calls immediately the login page again.

http://localhost:4190/TEST/BackOffice/Default.aspx?state=Timeout&ReturnUrl=%2fTEST%2fBackOffice%2fHome.aspx

I don't get it. Any idea why this is happening?

Have you checked FormsAuthentication.CookiesSupported to verify if the client supports cookies?

If that doesn't help, post your code and config file again to show us what it looks like now with your changes.

Hi, Sorry if this is asked already,
