if you use 01-99 you will have to make sure your error message is specific as the user might not know to enter 01 instead of 1

use [0-9]{1,2} if you dont want the user to enter 01 but 1

this is almost fine,it should not allow user to enter only one value
if use enter "1" error should display "need to enter 2 values or somthing"

When I open a document with my application it opens in a new document window. And I loose control from my web page
How do I open any document with my internet explorer.
The code is located in the page load event of myweb page as shown below:

you need to set it so that the target control is _self

Adding Contact in ACtive directory and reflecting it in Outlook.

hi,
I want to add contacts in active directory.I'm able to do so.
But the problem is that they r not reflected in Address book of Microsoft outlook.
When i investigated why this is so, i found it was because of some policy.
after discussing with support guys about what they do to manually add contacts, they suggested me to use MS exchange console instead to add the contact so that it will get reflected in few minutes into address book after adding.So how do i add a contact thru this exchange server console?
I tried to search on the net but i didn't find any help.May be any of u people could help me out.

Good Day,

I have a previous OPAC application written in C# that allows the user to search for a book. I displayed the result using listview.

Now I would like to create a WEBOPAC and I don't want to rewrite the whole code. I would just like to convert the listview to a datatable in ASP.NET so I can manipulate the delivery of the search results. (Like the one in amazon.com)

So my question is, can I force ASP.NET to allow me to use ListView (I won't use it to show the result, I only need to to convert it to a datatable)?

Open excel file not using COM

Hi all,
I have an asp.net 1.1 web application that allows user to open an excel file when they click to a hyper link. I can do this task by using COM but this solution will cause problem with different excel version. So has another way to open excel file not using COM (ms excel is already installed).

JS file is for keeping javascript, not for CSS. Put this in a CSS. To make input as a class prefix dot(.) before the name. Go through the CSS Beginner[^] tutorial.

I am having some problem. I want to transfer data from one
table to another have same structure.Second table will contain
its origenal data and new data.
I am using MsAcesss databases. The two tables are in two different
databases having same structure table.How can i do this?

a simple way ( as both are access dbs) is to export the data from one tabke to a csv file) and import it in the other end.
