Creating a control at runtime with out using its class name directly?
For Example
label LB = new label(); // I does not want to use label directly.
I what to use as (what I need)
String k = "label";
k LB = new k(); // I know it is wrong . It is what i need

you question is strange,
As far as i understand that you want to add control at runtime,
You can add controls at runtime like this.
Label L = new Label();
L.Name = "L";
L.Location = new Point(0,0);
L.Text = "ABC";
L.Size = new Size(75, 23);
this.Controls.Add(L);
hope this will help

Thanks for your response,
My problem is
From the XML file I will read the controls Names and I will create them at the runtime.
This is what I need

Use reflection.
Not at office so can't paste some codes to show you.

how secure is the key container?
are there a better solution?
any artickle on the matter will be great help
|
|
|
|
|
The standard 'key container' is a folder under your user profile, under Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA. Each file represents an issued key. The file itself is encrypted with your master key, which is itself protected by a key derived from your logon password.
The folder is protected by an Access Control List which permits only Administrators, yourself, and the system (represented by the LocalSystem or SYSTEM security principal) to read and write to the folder.
So the ultimate security of the key container is based on the strength of your logon password.

I am using a datastructure that represents a triangle mesh. It contains a list of 3D-vertices, a list of triangles (indices of the vertices used for the triangle), a list of edges (also indices) and some additional data. Each triangle has a 3D-vertex attached to it (the normal vector), so does each vertex. The angles and the area are also stored with every triangle. And every vertex stores the principal curvatures and their directions (as 3D-vertices). Every vertex stores a list of adjacent triangles and a list of neighboring vertices (also as indices).
All of that is not a problem for serialization. But I also need to store the distances from every vertex to every other vertex (to calculate the curvatures). I do this by storing the distance from one vertex to every vertex preceding it in the list of vertices with that vertex, so there is no redundance. (I tried a single array for all the distances, but it was too much and I got an OutOfMemoryException.)
My sample mesh contains 11703 vertices, 23402 triangles and 35103 edges, but the program should be capable of handling meshes a lot larger. I originally used doubles, as most of the "Math" methods return doubles. But I switched to float to save memory.
Now the program uses about 500MB of my 2GB of memory.
The distances are still too much for the serialization. (I tried storing just the distances using a StreamWriter and WriteLine and got a txt-file larger than 1GB, which is way too large.)
Serialization always throws an OutOfMemoryException. (I used binary serialization and GZip-Compression.)
Does anyone know a way of serializing such large datastructures?

If another process has a handle on the file then you cannot delete it because it is in use. It is as simple as that. The operating system is protecting one process from interference by another process.
If you want to delete the file you must get the other process to release the file.
This error can also happen when another part of your program opens a file and does not close it properly.

but file is not opened...when i debug step-by-step..it deletes the file..but not deletes the file by direct running the program....please help me

So it seems that there is some time needed until the handle is actually released after you call Close on the stream.

so what can be the solution for this.....give me the solution....please

There is probably a better method by checking if the file is available but it's not something I've done so I'm not sure.
A quick solution maybe to insert a System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(i); where i = the number of miliseconds delay you need to put in for the file to be released.

you should use a timer, that will be enabled by your code, then in timer_tick event, first disable the timer then delete that file
i sure this will work

Hi,
if you want write or delete access (anything other than read access) to a file
that just got created (by yourself or someone else, does not matter),
chances are you will find the file is being accessed by some other process,
and your access is not granted.
The other process very likely is some server code that is there to assist you
somehow. Candidates are:
- anti-virus software (Norton, McAfee, whatever)
- indexing software (Google Desktop, MS Office, whatever)
The common thing is these packages are looking all the time for new files, so
they can inspect them.
Microsoft is aware of the consequences; Windows Explorer will try rename and
delete attempts up to five times (with one-second interval), and only reports
failure if the action continues to fail for that time.
The solution:
1. either use a different file name
2. or remove all background reader candidates (bad idea)
3. or implement the retry loop as Explorer has it (use a Windows.Forms.Timer
for this)
PS: while debugging and single-stepping, your code runs more slowly and is less
likely to be affected by the above...

Hi friends ..

thanking you in advance ...

I must have posted this same line of code at least 3 times in the last week...
To set focus on any control on your form, use:
this.ActiveControl= myControl;
Do this at the end of your initialisation of your form to make sure the app is focused on where you want.
