i tried this one ,but i didn't get correct solution,i tried almost all the solutions,basically what i want is i don't want to display the query string value in the URL.i get that value from the database,then how can i hide or rewrite that url.pl z help me out

Use the embed tag to embed objects. Browser will identify what type of player it should choose to play the content.

If your business classes is in a class library project, DLLs will be created automatically when application is build. If your business classes are in app_code directory or inside website, use Publish website option which will create dlls.

Use ClassLibrary.

when they build, it will create the Dll.

you can access them using NameSpace !!!

How to display results from webservice method in a webform?i.e.when calling a webmethod asynchronously from a webpage ,how can i display it in web page whenever the result come.Avoid using timer to check for its completion.....

Add the webServices From AddWebReferences

Check the name what you give at the time of adding it.
by default "localhost"

now in web form

using localhost ;

in code if class is "Services"

Service s=new Services(); // Create object of Webservices Class<br />
s.method1();// Call Web services method

But the actual question is=> How to display results from webservice method in a webform when they are called ia asynchronous fashion?
The problem is that when the result came,the page will be rendered to the client.thus it is unable return the result to the client.Also we couldn't able to use polling.Would u plz giv me another solution?

Just Check in the Page ScriptManager.IsAscynchronous
if it is true then call your service method

now i have datakeyfield in dgChildGrid. when i click on a linkbutton with in this dgchildgrid i want to populate dgSubChildgrid within dgchildgrid but for doing that i need to get to dgchildgrid_itemcommand method. I am not sure how do i do that. could someone please point me to right direction or any examples will be great.

Attach the itemdatabound event after finding child grid.

dgChildGrid .ItemDataBound += new DataGridItemEventHandler(dgChildGrid ItemDataBound);

yes, first of all i tried to convert your code in vb.net as i find it hard to understand in c#. i couldnt so. within below code

dgAssetsCapexByProperty.DataBind()

i tried adding
dgAssetCapexByProperty.ItemCommand --->itemcommand is not available.

could you please give me a hint what i am doing wrong.

You should hook the events before you bind data. I have managed with a VB.NET code. Check this

AddHandler DataGrid1.ItemDataBound, AddressOf Me.DataGrid1_ItemDataBound

where DataGrid1_ItemDataBound is your event handler with Handles DataGrid1.ItemDataBound specified at the end. Check for tutorials explaining hooking events in VB.NET
