Hi,

i know than have many problam with the Session_End method
in the global.asax file.

my question:
i have a code than run in the session_end method
and this code was no execute. (the code activate other method in other class).

maybe i need to do something before?

for example:

....Session_End....
{
MyClass.MyMethod();
}

The Session_End method only runs if there is a persistent session object that times out. The session object is only persisted if you have stored any session variables in it.

Also, a common misconception is that the session ends when the browser window is closed, which is not the case. The session ends when the session object on the server times out (by default 20 minutes after the last request).

HI

I had two textboxes username and password and a button(Submit).
Now if i press Enter Key from Keyboard instead of clicking on Submit button
the page should be automatically redirected to another page..........
Please some one help me..........

in the password text box u write this javascript so that it will automatically calls the submit button when enter key is pressed...

go to source code and in password text box u write onkeydown ="return submitClick(window.event)"

in javascript

function suubmitClic()
{

if(event.keycode==13)//enter key asci code..
{
document.getElementbyid("sumit button name.ClientID").click();
}

Hi all I am using this code to retrive the HTML Table values

But I am facing the otherProblem. I have added TextBoxes in my table. But the outText is not printing the value from the textbox. If i use the innerHTML then it just print the attributes. How can Retrive the textbox values ?

HI, i am doing webapplicaton using validation controls...
I have 5 textboxex and 1 button in my page. i set validation controls like RequiredFieldValidator and CompareFieldValidator.

When i click on button without filling the form, all error messages are displaying at a time.. But i need to display message one by one..
what to do for this?

in vb.net we can stop the fuctionality of a code for some time usig threads.in the same way is it possible to stop a javascript fuction for some time

Not really. Javascript is strictly single threaded, so if you pause the script for a few seconds, the browser freezes up totally and does nothing until the script continues.

If you want the execution of a script to continue after a while, use a timeout to start a function:

function work() {
   // do something
   window.setTimeout('work2();', 5000); // continue after 5 seconds
}

function work2() {
   // continue doing something
}

Hi Guys using stroed procedure i try to display some datas in my datagrid,

This stored procedure working good in my query analyzer,
o/p will be like this:
01/01/2008 101 108 Other Expense
01/01/2008 101 109 Own Vehicle Fuel
01/02/2008 101 100 Air
01/02/2008 101 101 Train
01/02/2008 101 102 Bus
01/02/2008 101 103 Local Conveyance
01/02/2008 101 104 Boarding

But when i bind the values in my datagrid,
Its showing the datagrid dateplace only,

01/01/1900, i dont know whats the probs,
Anyone have idea abt this?,

I think problem is the dateformat you are using..
Please check the date format u r using while binding with the datagrid

Hi i am working as a software engineer.
I have to develop an application specially for safari browser in which the scroll bar position will be maintained after the postback..

I am able to do it in IE,OPERA,FF using "MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback"
but not in safari.

You can do it using gridview..
A grid view is very much similar to dataviewer
