Hi,
i want to display groups and their corresponding children on a aspx page,this is however done,but i further want to display the path starting from the root of the group selected.and when i click on any groupname in the path the page should get reloaded with the particular information.plz help.can i do it using html tags generated dynamically or if their is any other way kindly suggest.i am using ASP.NET 2.0.

Hi,
Sincere request to give a solution to my problem. I will explain in detail.
I have an application in ASP.Net, Sybase which was running very fine in windows 2000 server.
Recently i migrated it to a windows 2003/IIS6.0 server.
After the migration one of the pages is having an error

I'm trying to insert a byte[] data to sybase with Column datatype TEXT. I get this error:

Sybase.Data.AseClient.AseException: Operand type clash: IMAGE is incompatible with TEXT

This is the function which does this.

HI I am new to this forum. I have a problem in text box that is in table.We are using the length of that textbox in %.
When a long data is coming inside the textbox the length is increasing.If we are using px,then the length is not increasing according to resolution.That means it is fixed.Also we used overflow as hidden.it is not working perfectly.I am giving my code plz have a look on it.

put width in px for td tag and then try.

To see what is the serialized data when i uncomment the bold lines in the function i get this error

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path

I have given ASPNET rights. but no use.

I gave permission to NETWORK SERVICE. it solved the problem.

in asp when i delete an image in folder it cannot deleted bcs ,When i upload an image in database, it save with extension .jpg and in folder it save with extension .JPEG. At the deletion time the database image not compact with folder image.that is why the image not deleted.i think

so I want to save image in database with extension .JPEG. how can i do this.If any one know this pls tell me.I am new in asp

Hi, I have a dropdownlist and a Imagebutton in my page contain reset image.
The dropdownlist contains value one,two,three,four,five
When i come to this page the dropdownlist contains "three" as selected value. when i change the value in dropdown to "five", and then click on that imagebutton, need to reset the value from five to three. This all occur in javascript onluy. I want code for this in javascript......
can any one help on this?

Add a function to OnClientClient event of the ImageButton.

no, First of all i need selected value of dropdown when page loaded
and then if i change the dropdown value, i have to know the changed value.

when i click on button, the first value is set again in dropdown list.

How can i catch the first value in dropdown when page loaded

I don't think that. Because server won't get any notifications when a client browser closes. You can try hooking a JS script to the window close event which gives AJAX request to server and informing it about the event.

my commerce starter kit is locally running. but when i host that starter kit means it display an error "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'. so how to i rectify this problem... i change all the permission in my starter kit. but it doesnot run. please help to solve it
