Hi Friends,
i have one problem .Pls help me. i am having image(not url) in database and i want to show that image in webapplication .how i have to convert that image and show the user.

Make a proxy page that loads the image from the database and sends it in the response using Response.BinaryWrite.
Use the url of the page as src in an img tag in a page.
Experience is the sum of all the mistakes you have done.

Hi all,
I'm trying to share my calendar via web here in our ofc. I'm using this command
"My Shared Calendar"
But this just give an error of missing parameter and stuff... Why is this happening...
But when Im using only the outlook://calendar without the mailbox name I see my calendar. Hope someone enlighten me with this..

I have created a asp.net project in my PC i.e offline.My Project is in wwwroot>NGO folder.NGO is my virtual directory.Now i want to put this project on server for making it online.I tried putting it on server,.html files are visible but .aspx files are not loading,it shows page not found error.Plz help me,thank you.

Do you have IIS installed on that machine? HTML doesn't require a server to compile it. ASPX on the other hand is Active Server Page, meaning the server does the work. If you have IIS installed, it is quite simple to set it all up.

Do you have code execution turned on? You should see something that says execution permissions, you need at least Scripts only. And need to make sure FrontPage Server Extensions are setup, and that you have the right version of ASP.NET selected under the ASP.NET tab.

The server is handled by some third party,i am uploading my site through ftp.I can access that server only through ftp.

I usually code in coldfusion but now i want to create 2 text html files where i
pass a parameter on href?
This normally works in coldfusion!

It displays #test# but in the url i can see the value it's passing but the second
page does not pick it up!

from the net to fix the problem i have with my projects tooltip. We use the 'ALT' on a image to give tooltips so I download a workaround from the net - which works but it displays typed text pages.
so if i had 5 fields with tooltips - i would have to create 5 html pages. So i thought of passing a parameter like you assisted but the tooltip does not picki t up.
The script works great on page1 to page2
but not on the below code: on mouse over it shows the next page with text box but blank-no value - but if I open i new window then the value is there!
Please download the example - i'm not to sure how to fix this!

I am insterested in either building or purchasing an application that will assist users in troubleshooting technical issues. Something similar to the Modem Troubleshooter in the Windows XP help and Support Center. Does anybody know if it is possible the customise the troubleshooter tools in the Windows Help and Support center?

In ASP.net, how can I call the session or application variable using java script?
for example in my vb code behind I have the following codes:
Dim sTemp1 as String
Dim sTemp2 as String
Application("sTemp1") = "AAA"
Session("sTemp2") = "BBB"
What is the correct of calling the application value and session value in Java Script?
I tried this one but it doesn't work:

You don't. Those services are available server-side, not client-side.
If you need values stored in the session on the client, you should add server-side code to write it to the page somehow (hidden field, script block, etc.)

Apologies if this offends.....
I struggled to find the same, and in the end, went down the 'email' chain to colleagues, who basically chain emailed it for me. A list is only the starting point. The problem is the variations....
We all know what f*ck off means. So you have to check for that. or Fu*k or f**k or even just f***. If somebody wrote in an email **** off, you'd still get the jist. Where do you draw the line. Now my client's "clients" have started reversing the words...kcuf is so obvious, as is kc*f etc. How about fook yoo. Another one we've come across.
Then there is letter substitution - sh1t. sh!t. Sh*t. s4it 5hit. 5h1t. And on it goes. Regex is your friend here. And finally, bracketing words, so we get aFUCKa off. (wonder if Chris will pick that up). Which means you can't rely on a whole word seach.
I can't release the list as my client 'owns' it.
And scunthorpe is in the list of exceptions!
