As I recall, the watch window only displays the first 256 characters of a CString. Try showing the result in a messagebox and see if you actually read the entire test you intended to read.

I have two files, I do not know on which platform are they. I need to use these files into my project. I think those two files are from c and c++ platfrom . how can i implement those files into my project?

Why can't you simply add those files to your project ? What's the problem with that ?
Also, C and C++ are not platforms but language, which is a huge difference. If you want some help, you really need to explain as clearly as possible your problem.

But you told him to "check the content." That requires work. Wouldn't it have been easier for him to post up another question with the hopes of receiving step-by-step instructions? Copy them into your solution directory and on the solution explorer right-click your project and select "Add..." - "Add Existing Item..." and select the file you want.

I have a sample project that contain three files. I need to be confirm whether those files were created using console mode or mfc etc.

then check their content. it's the only way you can figure that out, is to check which objects is uses and handles...

Look in the project file (.dsp for VS6 or .vcproj for VS2005) and examine the various options.
FYI, what you're asking is NOT the "platform" - it's the type of project

I used DFCS_CAPTIONCLOSE,DFC_CAPTION & DrawFramecontrol to
draw min,max,close buttons. But they look like old buttons.

Actually I have a sample projects called mitumori and this projects also have two file (that is see on the file view tab named cpdf and jpeglib2 file. This project convert the *.npr file into the *.pdf. These files are related to each other i.e. there is a dependency between them. The problem how do they combine the project into one. Actually mitumori project use the files of cpdf and jpeglib2. I could not understand how do they use the other projects file. The main problem I need to implement the cpdf and jpeglib2 in my project. how can I do ?

Do you refer to linking together two libraries (LIB-files) in a third project?
Or are you talking about DLL-files?

are you intended to say two class is depend on each other? if yes, than use the technique known as Forward Decalration like this:-

I was trying to make a self extractor application. I have seen a code given on code project(http://www.codeproject.com/file/self_extractor.asp")but was unable to get how the programmer has corelated 2 exes together.....and how he had made shared files. Can anybody help me in this and is this possible to make a self extractor with one exe

i have already created an edit box dynamically using the create function. now my requirement is when i type something on the edit box the size of the edit box should increase as the sentence gets bigger? what needs to be done for this?

You have two choices:
- Subclass the edit control.
- Handle the EN_UPDATE notification in the edit control's parent.
