i am calling the confirmation message box in the on beforeupload.i have a button there in the page also.on clicking the button , i am getting the message box invoked aqs well .y it is occuring?

I have a table with the coloumns SNo ,ProductId and brandId
SNo is given as identity true
now want to retrive a ProductID whose SNo is maximum value

This is the wrong forum. This should be posted on the sql forum.
Still the answer should be something like:
select sno, productid, brandid from table
where sno = (select max(sno) from table)

I have a weird problem, See the skelton code below, it's in page_load

BindGridView();
}
GridView1.Columns[0].HeaderText = "Bla Bla";
This looks simple, I am not doing any extra logic in BindGridView(). Getting the data and binding it. But it's not changing the header text. But when a postback occurs, header text got changed. What is wrong here, Is gridview having any problem for changing header text immediatly after it is binded ?

You have to give the change text in header before BindGridView().
if(!IsPostBack)
{
GridView1.Columns[0].HeaderText = "Bla Bla";
BindGridView();
}

The window object already has a method named close, so that is not a good method name.

I think you're missing the else part of that if, where it will return false if not ok...

Attributes in an html tag doesn't have parentheses. Also, you have to return the value from the function call to the event:
onbeforeunload="return abc();"

hello all
i'm using report viewer and i need to show data. the report viewer uses some object to get data. i declared the fields i need to use in the report, editing them by hand. if i use textboxes imbedded in list or tables then everything looks ok. but if i try to put a texbox in a rectangle then i cannot choose any field from any dataset. if a copy a textbox with an expression in it and put it in a rectangle then the textbox shows "#error".
what must i do to be able to use datasets for the controls in a rectangle? what is the purpose of rectangle if i cannot link it to data?
