Hi,
How do you localize an image (e.g. flag) so that depending on the culture selected the image (flag) changes. For example if it is English (AU) then the Australian flag will load... if it is German then the Germany flag will load, etc...
I am using C#.NET.

U need to have various flags stored in your DataBase or Filesystem ...and then based on the culture load the appropriate flag...( actually i don't understand u'r question do u want to load a flag specific to the culture that the client machine belongs to ?)

I need to insert a lang-locale code.
I am guessing I need to store the country flag under the resource resx file? And depending on the country/language selected it will load the appropriate flag??? Just sure how to do this...

Hey u can do like that for easy coding store the Flags with filenames like "En-en" I mean same as the culture name and load those images based on the culture

Yeah that is what I want to do...
E.g. 2 cultures:
1. UIStrings.de.resx (German)
2. UIStrings.id.resx (Indonesian)
So do I store the flag image in the resource file under images? Do you know what code I need to put in the form where the picture is?

I have added a flag to UIStrings.resx (default) file and one in the UIStrings.de.resx (German) file.
What is the source code for loading the image?
I am assuming it is similar to a string.
E.g. this.btnOK.Text = res.GetString("OK").
Can you please help with this?

Hello,
just wanted to ask you ppl how we can add a help feature in a windows app, like the one that shows you the index n search facility. It has something to do with .chm files but I dont know the details.

First of all u need to have the .chm file...u can make a .chm file with tools available in the net...try WinChm tool u will get the trial version of it...After making the desired chm file drag a helpProvider control onto your form and attach the chm file to it ( u will find it in the control properties) Now invoke the helpprovider on the help button click

I'm using datalist control in shopping cart. i want show/hide the details of shipping addresses for multiple products
for that i'm using a table (with multiple textboxes) and a button in datalist.
when i'm clicking button in datalist total table's are

with this I thought you want to show/hide datalist items. I think I was wrong. We can't understand anything when u say you wanna hide a product table coz we're not the one's seeing what you r doin right? So try to explain what u wanna do in terms of .NET object manipulation ok.

when we are clicking again the same button textbox should invisible

so that multiple buttons & textboxes are coming I am not able to differentiate the click events when i'm clicking one button all textboxes disappearing.... and if i click again all textboxes disappearing .......
one button should work for one text box ()..........

OK now I got the idea. and I'm gonna try and give u a few guidelines and I Hope it works for u
1st you need to use Javascript. use the getElementById() function in orderto get the column of the textbox u wanna show/hide.
In the button you should make an onclick method and change its text to 'show' when its clicked with text 'Hide' and vice versa
On the basis of this text you can toggle the show/hide functionality in Javascript.
I hope u get it done now..

Open a new window (using Javascript or target="_blank") and request a page for it. Make the page return the byte array as response by using Response.BinaryWrite.

Syntactically it's correct, but logically wrong. You are not assigning the variable index back to Dropdown list.
