in milliseconds since when ?

GetSystemTime[^]
But if you only need milisecond to check for a time difference (for example how much msec elapsed between two points in your program), then it is much more easier to use GetTickCount[^]

Hi,
I am new to .Net. Is it possible to use (third-party Non-Visual).Net components in VC 6.0 (MFC) application ? (using COM ?)
Thanks in advance
please be clear.
do you want to use a component that is developed in dotnet in vc 6.0 or
vice versa?
Hi,Thanks for the reply
The component i wish to use is developed using .Net.
But my project is in VC 6.0 MFC.
So is there any possibility to use that .Net component in my VC 6.0 project by writing a COM wrapper for that .Net component or some other way ?
Hope this is clear

I want to highlight particular list control sub item on some condition.
How to do it. Please help.
have you tried to use GetCurSel()
-- modified at 8:38 Monday 8th October, 2007
[modified]sorry SetCurSel();
Thanks for reply.
I do not want to highlight on selection.
I m comparing sub item string at runtime, if condition satisfied then i want to highlight that string.
thats what i mean to say.
why dont you use SetCurSel() to select that item programatically.
you can find more explanation here.
CString str1;//this is the reference string that you want to compare the list items with.
for(int i=0;i<10;i++)
{
1.take the i th string from the list box,
2.if(str1=ith string)
{
list1.SetCurSel(i);
break;
}
}
If that sub item is present more than 1 time in list, so i want to highlight all those rows. I do not want to select, i want to highlight rows with different color on comparison condition satisfied.
I would have a look in the owner draw section of the list control area on codeproject.
It sounds like you should adapt one of the examples to (eg) make some lines with a yellow background.
Iain.

Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

This works for the current compilation unit only. That means it will disable the warnings only for the files that 'see' this pragma (if you put it in a header file, it will only work for the files that inlcude this header).
Either put it in your stdafx file or in the project properties (there is an option to disable specific warnings).

Greetings to all you C programmers,
I'm writing a program to read out a Csource file,
by this I mean that this program kan locate functions and the difficulty of these functions. And with difficulty I mean the number of subfunctions like if, else etc.
for example:
C source code
Main
{
int a, b, c
If(...)
{
...
...
}
else{}
}
Output
Function: Main
line: 1 to 10
Difficulty: 2
----------------------
I made a little program that reads the source code line by line and than checks if there is a function like main / void / ... If one of the functions is found it then checks how many if / else / ..
The program I builed is mostly made out of Counters (like a++, d++ etc..)
A little Csource it can read,
but when it encounters a bigger Csource it jams.
So my question is,
can anyone give me some advice, cause I'm going to start al over,
or has anyone written a program close to my goal,
with friendly greets,
Timo

can you just get back with your algorithm.
i feel that, you may have to debug your code line by line to pin point and localise where the code is actually getting jammed.
