window.close() and self.close();
both work in IE but it work in mozilla browser

In mozilla, you can close only that window through window.close() that you have opened through window.close(). This is mozilla's feature.

its means in mozilla we close that window which is open by javascript(window.open)

We can close only that window by "window.close()" that is opened by using "window.open()". That's the bottomline.

Subject: Please Help me it is urgent - abglorie
Can you help me to access the table in a form?
I am need a sample program in asp.net with VB coding for the following
action taken.
My table contain following fields that is
Name, StudentID, Mark1, Mark2 as string
the table contain 20 records
data entry for mark1 only
display the ID at the top of the form
next get a mark1 with textbox
click the submit button
go to the next ID display the top of the page
the textbox is empty
this action going to end of the table
(move the record upto 20th record)
If end of the table the following message is displayed.
Message = "No more records."
Please above action how to made. This is very urgent.
Could you please send actual coding to me at earliest.

A few points.
1. Just because it's very urgent for you doesn't mean that it even makes the top 10,000 urgent items I have on my plate right now. So don't bother marking it as urgent. Is it any more urgent than the issues that the other posters have?

I am developing a web application where there is a search textbox and go button. Whenever user puts any search key and clicks go button then it should be open to google site and it should display all the related pages of the search key.
How to do this??

For Current Date:
select convert(varchar(20),getdate(),104)
For Yesterday's Date:
select convert(varchar(20),getdate()-1,104)

Hi All,
I have one WebForm(.aspx) I m using this page for showing the reports. In that page there are two(2) DataGrid and 5 Labels.All Data is coming dynamically.There is one Button.
On click of that Button, I m sending mail of this Webform into PDF format . Now i dnt know how to convert my aspx Webform to PDF. Is there any inbuilt class into .net 1.1???? Plz give me detail coding.
Plz help me. I m searching this thing from many days.

Dear frineds,
i have a created a setup project for a web application.
in the web folder we have an option to set port no. when i set this as 80, this setup port no is shown in the form while installing.
so there is an option to modify also.
but i want this port no read at run time and assign to it.
if u take setup specifiying as 80 then it remains as 80 in other systems which has diffrent port.
is there any way to set this port no to that form.
any idea? or link.

Where favicon.ico is also 16x16 size.
Its working with Mozilla 2.0 and IE 7.0. BUT not working in IE 6.0.

bt its nt workin
hdnUserName.Value = username;
dis is how i assigned d value
Server .Transfer ("VerifyUser.aspx?Username=" + username, true );
dis is how i transeferred ctrl
hdnUserName.Value = Request.Form["hdnUserName"];
its not working
i dont want to use session
coz there r many values to transfer
there is no error bt as a result d value of hdnUserName.Value=""
the value is not retained
using postbackurl

When you use Server.Transfer then Request.Form["hdnUserName"] will be not work
Use Context.Items collection
first Add the value in Cotext.Items collection then access it on Transfered form.

Hi,
I have a table server control and its rows are dynamically generated and also in each row I am dynamically adding dropdownlist. But later when I am trying to find the controls inside the table
it is showing null. how can i find control inside a table.
I am using the code:
