hi, i got problem with my usb, it contain movie and when i want to delete that movie, it cannot error message says that that program is running but i already close the file, after that i try to unplug and plug again and after that try to delete instantly but it doesnt work , i tried to format disk but it said any disk utilities still running in this drive, but that drive only contain movie and i am not openning movie already, can you solve this

When you delete a file that's locked by another process, you could corrupt the other process, but then I assume you already know that. This may or may not work, and if it trashes your system, I won't be accepting responsibility.

Hi,
I'm looking for ideas on having a single PC with 5 or more independant Display outputs, prefably able to run 3D/DirectX output on any of them.
What hardware configurations should I be looking into?
An Embedded solution would be nice, but any tips are welcome

How hard is it to do a search? Assuming you want all of the displays to have the same capabilities, DFI makes a motherboard with three PCIx 16x slots. Then buy three identical dual-head (DVI) video cards. At that point, you have the ability to run SIX monitors.
You're not going to find a motherboard with enough embedded circuitry to run five monitors (much less, two).

I'm not sure who stuck a stick up your rear end today, but I hope the pain eases soon (or whatever it was that made you decide to reply so venomously to a fairly reasonable request for ideas).
Yes the multiple PCIx slot option is out there, I was wondering if there were any other solutions.
I know that at least one regular here works with building multiple display systems a lot, and had hoped he would have some advice.
As for embedded solutions, there are a number of Embedded boards that support 2 independant displays, one of which we are already using.

The problem is that so many people posting on here are lazy and just expect others to do the research for them.
In future it'd be a good idea to indicate in your post that you have already done some research and the result of the research. THen indicate your asking for people personal experience and opinions to build o nthat.

Not at all - it hasn't kept over 4.7 million people from joining.
If you had actually done some research, you would already know that there's no such thing as a motherboard with three graphics chip sets built in, much less providing 6 dvi connectors), and anyone that hasn't been living under a rock for the last five years knows PCIx is probably the best way to go. Further, anyone (even you) can type a simple phrase like "three PCIx slots" into the google search field and click "go" (there are probably more motherboards available that provide 3 PCIx slots, but I stopped at the first one I found). Failing that, NewEgg is always a good place to start when looking for hardware.

That's not entirely true. These forums are rife with lazy assholes that would prefer to come in here and start asking stupid questions without doing any research on their own before hand. In your original post, you made absolutely no mention of the fact that you did any research at all before coming here. I thought were just another lazy a**hole. If you had said, "I've looked around and couldn't find a suitable reference...", my answer would have been completely different.
Instead, you came in and asked a question about information that was readily available via a google search.
So maybe *your* holier-than-though attitude needs more adjustment than mine.

THere're cards out there that will let you use a Y cable to split a dual link DVI port(2560x1600) into two separate single link ports (1920x1200max) to run 4 monitors at once from a single card. They're quadro's not consumer oriented geforce models though. I've seen them from a few vendors of large multipanel display systems.

I don't think all of them do. IIRC it was only 1 or 2 specific models of the dozenish listed. In general the difference between a quadro and a geforce is that the former is optimized for image quality instead of high frame rates.

He said he wanted to do 3D/DX. If it were me, I'd look into using three 8600GS nVidia cards since they're fairly capable, reasonably inexpensive, and readily available.
The Quadro is too expensive and won't really give him any more capability.
Of course, my attitude sucks, so take the above for what it's worth.

Im getting Hard Disk Reallocated error of my Samsung 80GB HDD.
Actually im having 2 HDDs
1st is Segate
2nd is Samsung
Yesterday when i started my PC it showed me "Use 2 X 10 or 2X12 power connector " before windows started.
so what i have to do now??
samsung HDD is having 2 partitions
Right now im Defragmenting one of the partition.
My another Windows Media Center is installed in 1 of that drive.
So what i have to do now??
im afraid...

Hi,
i have analog voltage ranging -12v to +12. Need to know that
can i use ADC0804 (8-bit) which results in res=0.09v
or 0804 only work for voltages ranging 0-5v.
Also as i have to convert two separate analog inputs, should i use two 0804 for this purpose ? or 0808.
and what should be the sample rate for achieving 10Mhz bandwidth to be transmitted to PC????

I am confident that it's not possible to determine which mouse produced the input messages from usermode ring-3.
However, it might be possible at ring-0... by implementing a mouse filter driver which connected to \\Device\\PointerClass0 and other pointerclass input devices on the chain. But I can only imagine the chaos when multiple pointer devices are moving at the same time. Sounds a bit difficult even at this level to me.
But if you want to explore, the sample code in the Microsoft DDK at: C:\WINDDK\3790.1830\src\input\moufiltr could be modified to research this idea.

hi out there,
i don't know if i'm at the right place with my problem, but i will try. i tried weeks ago some times the usb forum (http://www.usb.org/phpbb/index.php) but these nice guys are not activating any new user accounts 
ok, is it possible to make an usb keyboard emulation, that means connecting 2 pc over usb or rs232 to usb, one pc has no keyboard and will be feeded with keyboard signals from the other pc over the usb connection... if yes, has any one good hints (internet pages, etc) how to do it?

The key strokes can be captured and injected at the source/destination PCs using global system hooks, but you can't just run a 'USB crossover cable' between them and call it done. You absolutely would need to write device drivers and AFAIK you'd also need a hardware device of some sort in the middle. Sending the data via ethernet would be much easier, and if for some reason the machines don't have ethernet cards and can't have them added you can buy USB to ethernet adaptors.

hm... so such a hardware device is definitively necessary because a direct usb-usb or rs232-usb connection is not possible (electric/hardware/conversion issues)? also if all the device driver stuff is done?
