Hi Saurabh,

Once i also faced same problem but i wasn't using user control.

I made these changes in web.config file and it works.
Just add these tags in ur web.config file below </system.web> tag.

<location path="Forgetpassword.aspx">
<system.web>
<authorization>
<allow users="*" />
</authorization>
</system.web>
</location>

I am not sure wether it'll work or not but u can try it out.

.ascx is not a page. Its just Usercontrol so u cant move

Create a new .aspx page for the forget password and exclude that page from form authentication.

hi,
I am new in VS.net 2005.
I created one simple web application(no aditional dll refernced) and published it.
But the bin directory of the published application contain 4 or 6 dll files..
And its name is also strange.My application name is TESTMY2005 .
But the dlls names are like App_Code.dll,App_global.asax.dll,App_Web_7-fyelsj.dll,App_Web_yhzbj4i_.dll etc...Why this happen??

In ASP.net1.0 ,there is only one dll and its name will be same as our application name.

how can i solve this issue?? or is it any problem occured from my side??

download "Add web deployment project" from Deployement.

After installation ,
You have got options "Add Web Deployment Project" in Solution Explorer.
You can deploye application with only one dll.

One doubt also..
after building this using web deplyment project,the bin directory of the published application contain App_global.asax.compiled,App_Code.compiled with my dll.
wats it?is it neccessary one??

Hi all ,
I am using C# , asp.net ,visual studio 2005.
I am defining label control at runtime as
Label item1 = new Label();
And assigning its id as
Item1.ID = "item1";
But problem is that I have to define it for 250 label control.
Actually I tried it to define through loop but its not working.

Is better way of coding posiible or we have to define all 250 label control

Please help

But why you want to define 250 labels ?
Can you tell the business requirement behind so that could help you more that just giving answer

This works fine for me:

sry the actual thing i want to erase the prevoius pages content.
means suppose if user enter his/her details and clicks submit button and enters into some other page. when user clicks browser's back button from that page i dont want to display the previos page's content i want to erase the fields.

How to do this.

disable caching on client:

Response.CacheControl = "no-cache";
Response.AddHeader("pragma", "no-cache");
Response.Expires = -1;

This will cause a Request to the server when the user clicks on the back button.

Your page will be freshly initialized then.

I've a database table's 'bit' field type problem.

The problem is :

When I fire any update query to the table, my 'Active' (bit type) field automatically updated to value 1. But I have not taken this field in my update query. But this update query update the value of 'bit' field with 1.

Please, Give me any solution as soon as possible.
