i have develped an application which supports three language spanish, english and french. i have used resource file to achieve this task. My problem is, i am having a web form which contains three label box first name, last name and middle name in resource file i have set the value for all the languages, is it possible to update resource programatically coz the client wants all the fields should be editable & correspondin value should be reflect at the resource file.

When ScriptManager Control is placed in Content Page the ScriptManager Control is underlined red thereby notifying about an error condition.
Error Condtion is :
"Element ScriptManager is not a known element. This can occur if there is a compilation error in the website."
How do I tackle this problem ?????????/

Hi all,
I am working on a web project where i have several data entry pages. On these pages i have to fill in First, last and middle names from a dictionary i created which is actually an autocomplete function (not that of Ajax) that is reading from the 3 database tables of first, last and middle names. The goal behind that dictionary is to limit data entry mistakes for those specific fields. Each table contains at least 30,000 name. My function works on loading all the names on client side at page load and that is taking tooooo much time. The technique is working fine after loading the names but my issue is that it is taking so much time. Any one have different ideas for my issue and thanks.

However i get an indexoutofrangeexception whenever i click to move on to the next page.
Below is the code that i ham using to bound items.

I have a form with a button and a textbox. When i click button, linkbutton will be create on form.
When i click linkbutton, "Hello" will be filled into textbox.

Problem is when u click on Button then LinkButton will be created and added in the form.But when u click on the Linkbutton at that time u can not create linkbutton againg.You have to create every postback.
try to create it on Page_Load event

I have a master page with 2 divs a LeftColumn and MainColumn. My menu control is in the LeftColumn, the static menu is the same size as the left column so my dynamic menu pops out over the main column. My problem is when the dynamic menu pops out it is behind the content in my MainColumn. How can I get this to come out in front? I know the answer is right in front of me but I seem to be missing it. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi guys,
You may have seen Ajax Textboxwatermarket effect. I am using that but the problem with this is anytime I try to enter anything on the textfield or textbox the width of the textbox gets slightly bigger, it doesn't stay what i have explicitly defin while coding my textbox. I even set the width in the CSS but still no result.
You may also see live on www.asp.net website and check this control. I would appreciate if anyone can help.

I have a dropdown list.
It has following items
admin@sam.ca.gov Admin Miller
bobby@sam.ca.gov Bobby Gill
chris@sam.ca.gov chris Ghai
jim@sam.ca.gov Jim Ghotra
Here each item represent email address and his first name and last name. I need to select an item from drop down list and grab only email ID when I click on a button.
The domain of email is always same. i.e @sam.ca.gov is always same for all users.
