Do you want to use ASP with SQL Server ? Bcoz MDF is a SQL Server Database file.
If yes, then try google it, I believe there are thousands of articles available. If you have any problem using them...we are here to help you out. But atleast take an initiative

I am developing a small application using ASP.NET 2.0. I have used Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library to create a excel chart. The OS is Windows XP and I have installed Microsoft Office 2003 SP2 in my system.This is running fine in my system when i am running the project in debug and release mode. But when i deployed in local server it threw me an error saying
"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error:
80080005.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. "
I did some changes by adding the following line in web.config
"<identity impersonate="true" username="username" password="password">
After adding this i am not getting the above error, but the application is not instanciating excel application.
Please give me the solution, how i will be able to instanciate the excel application from IIS 6.0

Hi i am using textbox in datagrid ,so i need to add that textbox value in that datagrid and put in to label , so these working fine in IE 6 but if i run this in IE 7 and mozila the values are not adding ..

Hi Friends.
I am using javascript to display timer in my .aspx page..I also use javascript to do validations in that page.when i alert the user with a message.i.e when alert function is called,the timer stops and becomes idle.Again when i click the ok button of the message box that occured as a result of alert function ,the timer starts ticking again from where it had left earlier..Time deviation occurs due to this..How to solve it? Someone help in this regard as early as possible..

Time deviation always occurs when you use a timer, as the timer is triggered at the first possible moment after the time elapsed. If you want correct timing, you have to store the current time when the script starts, and calculate the difference between the start time and current time later on.

I got this error in my application also
This error occurs due to many reasons one of it is your Windows FireWall is not allowing to connect remote server .
Off your and Server fire wall and check once again

maybe it the sqlserver2005 service is turned off
try to turn it on

Even me too was bit *adamant* on sticking to it. But a few reviews show up negative on using the java.util.zip from VJSLib.dll because of
1) performance
2) zip errors
I think SharpZipLib is more good. It just needs one compiled binary to be shipped along with the assembly. http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SharpZipLib/[^]

Hi All,
I am using HtmlControls to select file from local machine. A problem with this control is at a time we can select only single file from 'Choose file'
window.
Here we need multiple file selection option from 'Choose file' window
in my web application.
Please guide me how to implement this functionality.
