You will need to change your providor form SQL server to oracle. Your currently using the SQL providor (when you declare a SQLCommand and use SQLDBType you are using the SQL Server specific constants etc. Change to either OLEDB (generic) or better to the oracle providor.

i have a database of lists of subjects...then in my module, i want to display all the subjects that i recorded in the listbox...
how can i do it? i already connect my dataset in the connection wizard but i can't display it in the listbox.

if your simply displayin the values of a single column of a DataTable then just make a new bindingSource and fill it with the tableAdapter. Give the bindingSource Name as its DataSource and specify its valueColumn n Display Values from the properties pane if you like.

For Heaven's Sake! just open the MSDN.com over the web. go to the index and type ListBox COntrol. There will be a section of data binding. Read it and Follow the instrunctions.

Hi,
You could do a join on the three tables with their foreign keys. After the join you would be able to get all data from the three tables. Depends on your database but here is an example:

It is doing cross multiplication.
wt could be the reason.

It depends on the which schema the login which you use(connection string from ASP) to connect to the database belongs to. If you're using "sa", it uses the "dbo" schema, by default.

consider Table
# tblTest
fldMainId fldSubID
1 A
1 B
1 C
2 A
2 B
3 A
Here I have written Query :
Select fldMainid from tblTest where fldSubID IN (A,B)
This gives Result fldMainId's : 1,2 and 3
How can I write query so that only fldMainid which has A,B strictly is choosen.So here 1 will not be choosen since it has C also, and 3 is not choosen since it has no A
Hence only 2 is choosen as it has A and B.

In T-SQL you can use this query:
Select fldMainId from tblTest where fldSubID='A'
Intersect
Select fldMainId from tblTest where fldSubID='B'
Except
Select fldMainId from tblTest where fldSubID='C'
If you have more possibilities for fldSubID then either you will have to write longer query or use subquery

Do you mean a server class operating system?
Express and Developer editions can run on XP and Vista. Standard and Enterprise editions need a server class operating system.
