Create lable control at run time add it into cell of table liek.
Get specified cell where u want to add.
Lable obj=new Lable();
obj.Text=Record('field1);
Cell.controls.add(obj);
Lable Obj2=new Lable();
obj2.Text =record("field2");
Cell.controls.add(obj);
...........

hi all,
I used Below methods but I am not getting visitors IP.It always shows internal IP.My server having Secure Socket Layer.
Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR") //return empty
Request.ServerVariables("REMOTE_ADDR") //got my internet IP
Request.UserHostAddress //got my internet IP
I dont know how to solve this.Is SSL is hiding the visitor IP? When I set deny access IP address in IIS it is working.Actually I want to put access using the visitor IP.How to do this.

VS 2005
I have a web serivce and created the MSI websetup project. Its just a simple web service. However, when i run the setup i get this following message. I can understand that file or reference to a file is missing. but I can't understand what file it is, and how to find out what file it is looking for.
Exception occurred while initializing the installation
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: could not load file or assembly.
file:///C:\Windows\System32\Software\myProject\PC1\ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

What you can do is that you can check the reference node in Solution explorer to know how many assemblies are using in your webserice.

how can I set the delete command such that when I click on specific row it deleted from the Database, in other word I want the delete command to be daynamic ?????

There is one property called "Delete Query" in SqlDataSource. You can set the delete command there.

Hi, i'm kinda new to the whole asp.net side of developing. I've created a web page with a combobox and textbox. I have a Database with a table (Postcodes).
First of all, how do i populate the combobox with data from this table (column: towns) and, second of all, when i change item, how do i make the textbox display the postcode (a.k.a. zip code) (column: postcode).
I am using visual basic as my language in visual studio 2005 with a seperate codepage for my aspx page.

Hi,
I have a problem when I display a datagrid that contains too many rows the asp.net menu control is messed up in Internet Explorer. The only solution to this problem is to page the datagrid but I can't do that coz the user can edit and add data in it...so I don't know how to handle this problem??
Messed up meaning the menu is supposed to be horizontal with a certain style but when displayed it becomes vertical and the styles and colors are gone!!! The menu items become links?? And I noticed that this happens only when the datagrid displayed in the same page contains too many rows.
Can someone tell me why does that happen and if there is a solution to this problem??

Hi,
I would like to use a .aspx.vb code-behind file to create a dll which I can then use as my .aspx page's code-behind file in place of the .aspx.vb one.
The reason I would like to do this is that I would like to distribute existing code from my 'sandbox' in an application I'm developing for a client, but do not want to provide the client with the .aspx.vb source code.
I am using Visual Basic / Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition (ASP.NET 2.0).
So far I have tried:
1. Importing the .aspx.vb file into a new VBEE project and trying to build the project. This doesn't work because the references to controls on the .aspx page aren't recognised in the VBEE project.
2. Investigating the possibility of using the code compiled when the site is built be the .NET framework. I have looked all over the place for an answer/dll file, but haven't come up with anything.
Well I've run out of ideas on this so if anyone is willing to help that would be great. If you've not got a complete answer, just some ideas of where to go to investigate further would be great.

Hi,
I have a login page in asp.net accepting username as email and password,using form authentication. And a checkbox to make password persistent or non -persistent.
My requirement is that when i log out, then again when i open the url , and puts the same emailid then its password should automalically come in password textbox.
Is there anyother way to achieve this.

This is a function in the browser, and the user decides if the function should be used or not.
You can't control this functionality programmatically, and there is no way that you can set the value of a password textbox using code.
