hello frnd,

it can be achived by the Javascript/VbScript just use the "onKeyDown" event and check that

if event.keyCode = 13
{
document.getElementById("txtSecond").focus();
}

You have your page or project with you. isn't it? Smile | :)

So, go and take a look... and decide which textbox you want the cursor to move when you press the "Enter" key.

OR Do you wanna detect automatically to the next control after current one?? It's hard to say since it is based on the design.

HI!

i have two Text Box (TextBox1,TextBox2) and the maxlength for TextBox1 is 3 and for TextBox2 is 7. now i want when maxlength of TextBox1 is end then cursor automatically move on next TextBox2....Please help....

Write a javascript function and call it in OnKeyDown event of the textbox. Inside this function check the length of the text, if it is your desired length change focus to next textbox.

im giving treeview node colour using this code (shown below)

bt at that time its tooltip is showing
"<font color = #066C57 >" Addition "</font>";
when im giving treenode.tooltip="something" it is nt working
pls give me a solution

after reuild it comes same then try this
write de code in source(html)

to give the color to treeview node use the style property of HTML view don't use the code behind

Hi,

When i try to attach and send a file , i got the error..
The report of BOM can't be send as an email due to error:-Access to the path
'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\xxx\PDF\admin\Report.pdf' is denied

.Please tell me how to solve this.........

right click on folder wwwwroot and uncheck Read only checkbox

First thing is to check if you have set up permissioning correctly on the folder. In other words, your process has no rights to the folder in which the pdf is stored. Right click on the folder and select "Security". You need to select and grant permissions to your applications user.

Hai to all,
1)Is it possible to assign a property like ,the textbox should accept either blank or telephone number like 011-342344 .
2)i know with regular expression validator or required field validator,we can give ..it shd not take blank or wrong format.
but how to do as i wrote in the first point.plz anybody can give me an idea.which property of textbox shd i need to set???if not possible wat shd i do???

No predefined properties. You can write a custom control which have all these options.

I have login page user will enter his username to enter the main page "every things fine till now". the problem is when the user jump to address bar in the browser and write manually the path to the main page he will be able to access the website with out entering his log in information.

please help me I need to block accessing to any web page unless the user enter his username.

when user login then take his id in session and check follwoing on next page

if session("userid")=nothing then
response.redirect("loginpage")

1- how can I kill the session??
2- what is (Nothing key work ) you have used? I did follow your solution but I check the user session with the default string value I have set to all session in Global.asax. are they any way to set the string in global.asax to null.

Hi If you want to kill session then u can use session("sessionname").Remove.
This will remove a particular session and i you want to remove all session
on the page then u can use session.Removeall().
regarding Nothing keyword if u r using vb.net then you can use Nothing
keyword or if u r using C# then us can use Session("userid")="".
Nothing is a keyword used in vb.net.If any query then let me know abtit.

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
