You don't convert from http to https. You take the files/pages you want under SSL where they belong. Sorry, I know how to do it in Apache, but not IIS.

Hi.I add command field[Edit,Delete] in the gridview for editing or deleting the selected row cell value.and i right click the gridview - choose datasource-select object-then i click update i select the following method but the next button is not enabling still disabled.what is wrong with this method or how can i call the object for editing or deleting the gridview.

Hi. in my web application there is a option for showing the photos,when click photos button will load photos.aspx page and am keeping the images in the server folder name Photos.in my local machine while loading the page i will get all the images which i store in the Photos folder,but i host this page and open this page am not getting any images.the page load event as follows.what is wrong with this code.somebody can help me.

Sounds like a permissions problem. Do you have view permissions to the root of the drive you are trying to view? Another option is to use classic asp style of debugging and output any errors, or even the path of the photos folder.

The Directory.GetFiles returns an array of physical file paths on the server. As long as the server is the same computer as the client computer, you will be able to see the images, as you see the images that are stored locally on your computer, as they happen to have the exact same file path as the images that are stored on the server, as they happen to be the exact same files. When you view the page on the hosted server, the images are only stored on the server, so when you try to view the images they are not there, as you no longer have a local copy of the images on your computer with the same file paths as on the server.

You have to make sure that you use the virtual path to each image, not the physical path, when you put them on the page.

HI,
I am fecthing varbinary data from data base and converting it to Image data.

i got error of 'Parameter is not valid'

i use this code

Why are you using Response.OutputStream instead of the stream var you just created?

Are you trying to change the file format of the image, or why are you loading and saving the image?

If you just want to send the image to the browser, don't use any Image object, just send the bytes.

I've four Names and they have four links respectively
and i want to display these within a table and also i'm creating the table dynamically

Hello All,

I created my crystal report and saved it. Then
I created a new webpage and added Crystal report viewer and saved it.

In the code behind of the webpage when i tryed to add code i am unable to get the report name (automatically in the dropdown). If I write/typed the report name and tryed to run report it is showing an error message there.

"Compiler Error Message: CS0246: The type or namespace name 'CrystalReport1' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)"

Please let me know how to get the report name in the code behind automatically. D'Oh! | :doh:

Did you load the crystal server runtime on the web server? You need the crystal dlls for crystal reports to run.

I couldn't get what you are saying. This is my first Crystal report. I am working in VS2005, using ASP.NET & C# for this Crystal Reports.

When i binded a simple report using CrystalReportViewer control (with out using any dataset), It worked fine. (There is no code in the codebehind except the CrystalReportViewer bind property) It showed the values correctly.

When I tryed the same with the dataset in the code behind i am unable to get the reportname in the snippet.

CrystalReport1 crReportDocument = new CrystalReport1(); --> i'm not getting this report name here.

I am following the following steps to generate Crystal Reports using the
Datasets.

1) Right clicked on my solution and selected add, New Item.

2) Added a dataset and created a query in the dataset. and saved this
dataset.

3) Added a Crystal Report Viewer to my webform.

4) Right clicked on my solution and selected add new Item Again and then
added a crystal report

5) In the crystal report wizard Selected crystal reports wizard and then
selected my report format...

6) Under the data menu I selected project data, then ADO.NET datasets. My
dataset showed up with its fields and you can make your selection as well
as created my crystal report.

7) The code behind ******(in the webform where I added Crystal Report
Viewer)*****

I tryed to write code but unable to get my report name (automatically in
the dropdown).

Is my step 3 correct? I am unable to understand why my crystal report name
is not showing up in my code behind. Please let know your thoughts.

there no property name HeaderText :P

I think u want to set the header text of column. any ways here is the solution.

DataGrid.Column[Column Index].HeaderText = "ColumnName";

gv.Columns[1].HeaderStyle.Width=300; //this is in pixels.

and let me know what kind of formating do u want and the last one i can't understand u want to ask.
