hello everyone,
I have a small doubt regarding ReportViewer Control in asp.net 2.0.
I have a report viewer control in .net2.0.I will drag it into the Webform1.aspx.Now i need to generate a report using report server.So, How do i need to do it.The ReportPath and Report Server URL.. how to set .. The report server done using the SQLSERVER2005.It will be in Configuration Tools -->Reporting Service Configuration.From there i need to set the database and i need to generate the Report in the Report Viewer Control in .net.So plz help me fast in solving this solution.

Can any tell me How can i solve this problem

Hi Sajan,
first take one textbox , apply required field validator to it ... set its property(control to validate = textbox ,display property =none and error message )
then add validator callout extender to page set its TargetControlID property to control i.e textbox and u done.

Give in ur datagrid html code the following properties:
PageSize="10"
OnPageIndexChanged="myDataGrid_PageChanger"
AllowPaging="True"
Then in ur back end code give this code:

Hi,
I am looking for some help, on how to add a dropdownlist to a gridview header, and then having the same functionality as auto filter in MS Excel. If I sort on one column, it filters my gridview, if I sort on more then one column, it filters on the combonation. Now here is the tricky part(for me atleast)... I will not know how many columns there are, as the information is imported from an excel spreadsheet. Any help will be welcome.

You can bind a hastable to a datagrid by first putting the elements into an Arraylist since hashtable does not implement IList interface.

I have given my idea because i have faced problem while Binding the data table with hash table. so i suggested it to do with Datagrid.

Use getEnumerator() method in hashtable object and loop till the end of that. Create rows in datatable and assign hashtable value.

I have to restrict users from entering numerices,I have done it using Html control key press and then adding runat=server tag to it,but I would like to know where its possible in asp.net server controls.
