But I have used like this, (for Anchor tag)

I'm pretty sure the error is coming from the <%# %> tags. At the point of OnClientClick, everything is being directly translated into JavaScript, and Javascript does not support those tags.
If you need to combine asp.net variables with javascript, I'd recommend using the click attribute, and setting up a server side event handler. Either that, or you could always "cheat" it, by having a hidden data field that you write to via asp.net, and read from via javascript to execute your Eval().

Hi friende Good Morning
I am working on chat window in asp.net where i use Ajax script manager(Timer, update panel,)where timer always lode the page where I want my chat window scroll bar always at bottom .for this I am using java script:-

call it function on body onkeydown so its woking on key press but I want scroll bar always at bottom until user not moved. Problem is that timer always lode the chat window. And in ajax we can not call any javascript function on the control.

Hi,
I want to add the OnCheckedChanged event to a checkbox, and then fire a method that colours all my rows in the datagrid. I am doing this in the RowDataBound method. I am not having any luck. Can anybody maybe help me.

Either you've worded this question in a slightly misleading way, or you're not up on your number systems. If you're really asking us how to tell if a number is hexadecimal, that's kind of a moot point. All numbers can be represented as a hexidecimal value. It's not a way of storing or encoding a number persay (with exceptions to the more complex storage systems such as the IEEE floating point,) so much a means of viewing it. If you want to express a number as a hex value, look into .net format strings.
If you're asking how to check a string to see if it represents a hexidecimal value, then I suggest looking into regular expressions. ^0x[\da-fA-F]{1,}$ should suffice as an expression to check against. Though, I'll often append a \s{0,} to either the front or back, to add forgiveness to user input.

Which is the best HTML designer available than Visual Studio.
In VS if we drag and drop HTML controls on to the designer, they would create tags, so I prefer coding instead of drag n drop controls. However, its time consuming. Is there a better designer?

i have a table containing empname,supervisor name and status.employee can be a supervisor.for each employee there s a supervisor. suppose a supervisor status is inactive.i have to empty the supervisor name column in both database(sql server 2000) n in datagrid
ex:
empname supervisorname status

b c inactive
here b is inactive in status i need to empty the supervisorname of emp zari both in database n datagrid.
