For local server you need to use System.Web.Mail it will work.. However I do not want the client to download or even open the document on the client machine. The document should be opened at the server and the user should be able to Save the document back to the server. Also, I am not sure which version of MsOffice the client will be using. The problem that arose was it opened Word Application and then opened the document I asked for. Is there some way in which I can open the document within the browser itself? This is because I have to provide some buttons, etc for further processing. Please tell me if you have a possible solution.
