I'm using the following code to allow a user to download a file from a webserver:
Response.AppendHeader("content-disposition", "attachment; filename=" + name)
If ftype <> "" Then
Response.ContentType = ftype
End If
Response.WriteFile(fullpath)
Response.End()
When the code runs the browser will display the Save file dialog box. How can I tell if the user click the Cancel button on this dialog box?

I am working with Asp.net 2.0, I was trying to use FieldmapCollection which is object present in Asp.net 1.1 framework and does not present on Asp.net 2.0
please help me out if there is any alternate for FieldMapCollection in Asp.net framework 2.0. For your information I will paste the part of code where I use FieldMapCollection,

i am getting the below error:
Server Error in '/Slideshow' Application.

Might be XMl file is not valid contains sub double value that you are assinging to Gridview again Check by debugging the application

Hi,
I have created a website which will automatically refresh every 15 minutes. The website will have like 5 users logged in to the site all the day. It will work fine for 8-10 hours and sometimes the whole day. But when I return in the morning I will have the error message dispalyed on the screen that says Validation of viewstate MAC failed. I turned off the validation in the web.config but still it is giving the same error. Please let me know the solution.

To be more specific I am giving the full details here.
Imran Thank you for your suggestion I made good progress. But I have a small doubt here... How to call a method GetPhoto() which is present in getIT.ashx through the below code.
I am able to pass PhotoID here using DataBinder.
<%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"SP_Ph_ID") %>
Please let know your suggestions in calling the GetPhoto() method.

Bind the PhotoID value (Databinding). Use Eval() or Bind()

Hi,
I am having problems with exporting datagrid data to excel. I am getting the popup with error "Internet explorer cannot download default.aspx . IE was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." When I searched for the error in google, some have said that it happens if the site is SSL configured and have no-cache meta tag. The solution they offered is to remove no-cache tag. I did remove the meta tag but still it is giving the same error. The site is running on ASP.NET 2.0. Please let me know how I could solve this.
