hello friends...
i m facing problems, while appending a file with (.txt) extention on server. I have a textarea on in a web page, user types some text and clicks save button. and the text in textarea must be replaced with the text in file on server named ( lets say mytextfile.txt).
i dont know any hint of how can i achieve this task... any help?

Let it be
Use TextWriter to write into text file use streamWriter class to open the file
in the constructor of the streanWriter pass 2 parameters path and bool true or false to append the text to file like this
TextWriter textwriter = new StreamWriter("Path of mytextfile.txt", true);
textwriter.WriteLine(TextArea.Text.ToString()):
textwriter.Close();

HI All
I have developed a site in English using asp.net 2.0. now the requirement is that i have need to launch the site in other language like the Swedish, Norse, Deutsch etc.
I have a master page which content the dropdownlist for the different languages. i want to change the all content( static and dynamic both content) of the site along the user selected language.

I have worked like these problem using the localization. using localization only we can change the server control language not the whole page mean static content.

Hi,
Its obvious that static content u can not modify from the code coz u have hardcoded those things.
The contents which u want to modify as per the language selection should be loaded dynamically.
There is no other way.
Or
You can make as separate pages for each of the language which is not an advisable option so I would not suggest that.

I suppose it not good to load the static contents in dynamic way.
Actually i suppose once we change the culture on the page level then the all content should goes under that culture. so the static text should also change along that language.

Hi,
I am running .NET 1.1 and I just got a very strange error message on one of my live sites. Not me nor the client has made any modifications. Can this me a possible hack?
If any one has had such a weird error message, please let know:
Server Error in '/' Application.
File or assembly name uskuohjt, or one of its dependencies, was not found.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or assembly name uskuohjt, or one of its dependencies, was not found.
Please can someone shed some light please.

What is uskuohjt ? are you refencing any dll in your application .........

I was descriptive, and I mentioned that no one made changes. There is no such thing called uskuohjt. The site worked yesterday, but now it is giving errors. This is what is worrying us, that is why we think it is a hack.

I think it is a .NET bug because it created a huge amount of other files. I was created in C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v1.1.4322/Temporary ASP.NET Files/root/c7f18ed3/243bb99c/uskuohjt.DLL
Then the files looked like error files.

Check using ILDasm if your IL is calling or using this uskuohjt.DLL
What are you doing in your application ?

It means your uskuosk (whatever) has gone...

When do have such an DLL and we have never created it at all.
|
|

Your application refers assembly uskuohjt, which needs to be in the bin folder.
|
|
|
|
|
But he saying that his application is not using any dll like uskuohjt
