If you want to search in the database then you can use stored procedure to search the keyword.
For web site search: are you storing the content some where if so then you can directly search there itself.

To search the keyword in database you can use like keyword in sqlquery. And to get the code on how to execute the stored procedure from asp.net you can get it from Here[^]

Closing the web Browser?

Hi everyone

I am doing an apllication, in a particular senario I have to close the Web browser with a Button click.

I want the code for closing the web browser without using JavaScript.

(Closing the web browser means closing the entire application.)

I think we can Close the Web Browser in JavaScript!

How this happens with out a Boat!!!!!

It means that we have other means to travel, i.e we can go by AIR..... Laugh | :laugh:

That is what we want to know why you want to use c# if it can be done quite comfortably with javascript.

hi,
the rendered output of any asp.net page will contain standard html tags and some script mostly javascript.
since html tags cannot close the window, you have to depend on scripts.
