I am trying to upload one asp.net project on some other web server but it is giving me error,Server Error in '/ambertex.in' Application.

Do what it says, and re-upload your new web.config, and see what the error message is.

Hi Guyz,
I have a DataTable having 10 rows.
ID, FirstName & LastName are the Columns.
I did filtering using DataView.RowFilter=FirstName
The problem is...., I want to view all the records which comes below the resultant Row after filtering. (If the resultand Row after filtering is 4th in DataView, I want Rows from 4 to 10)
Guyz.., any solutions plz

Hi,
Create and instance of System.Web.Mail.MailMessage class.
Set its BodyFormat = System.Web.Mail.MailFormat.Html.
Put "<a href='locaition'>link</a>" in its body.
and use send method to send it to the destination.

hi 
i have a page for image upload and text boxes to along the page using the validator to validate the textboxes.
and want to open the my pop window (say successully done - my own page not the ok dialog box). when the image upload successfully.
once the user will click ok we need to redirect the parent page another.
Any help will really appreciate

Set window.parent.location.href = "newlocation" before you close the dialog window in javascript..

but first problem is that when we click on the button poup window is appear even the textboxes are blank even i am using the required field validator.
once the popup open the then the validator message also appear.
i want validate the textboxes if valid then popup should open

Hi,
You should do this validation in javascript before opening the popup.
var val1 = document.getElementById("textbox1").value;
var val2 = document.getElementById("textbox2").value;
if(val1 != null && val2 != null)
{
window.Open();
}
Dont copy and paste my code coz it may have spelling mistakes.

I have the master page having middle part as content template and on left and right
on master page I am displaying images which are changing on each refreshment.
In IE if I refresh the page it comes to master page pageload event (Postback=false)
and executes the functions (for displaying the images right and left )in condition postback==false
In IE it comes ones on this page(master page) BUT IN MOZZILLA if I refresh the page it comes two times on pageload and execute that functions two times on page load of master page....and changed images that i bind to repeater to display is not diplayed ...

You can't do that with a regular web application. You need to create (or find) a component (like an ActiveX component or Java applet) that runs in the browser and does the recording.

Hi,
I designed a two-column layout website, looks fine in IE6. But if I try to open the same in Mozilla Firefox, the center column overlaps with Left column...
Meanwhile, I tried to change it to 3-column layout, it worked in IE & FF too.. could anyone please help me why my 2-col layout isn't working in FF? Do I need to do any changes in my code?..

Do check your table and its column's width should be in only (%) not (px) got it.

I could be wrong, but rather than use the suggestions above, I think it is quicker / more efficient (for large databases anyway) to use something like
select count(ID) from [tableName]
Assuming your table has an ID field.... (otherwise, I dare say any fieldname would do, but again, an Int type probably would be most efficient.)
Someone may correct me....

Same way you print anything... you have to read the result into a variable and print it.
You can use the ExecuteScalar command on a Command object to read the number directly into a variable - eg, in VB, SQLServer:
Dim objCmd As SqlCommand
Dim n As Integer, s As String
...
objCmd.CommandText = "SELECT COUNT(ID) FROM TableName"
n = objCmd.ExecuteScalar
...
s = "There are " & n.ToString & " records in the database."
