I am using below mention code but system hang when ExecuteNonQuery fires.
don't know why and no error comes.

Hi,
The logic written in your stored procedure may have any issue.
You try to run the procedure in sql query analyzer with dummy data and see if it gets executed successfully.
And to get value of output parameters u need to set the direction of the parameters which u add to the sqlcommand.
param.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
This way you can set directions for parameters and get their values after execution.
int x = (int) cmd.Parameters[parametername].Value;
Value property of sqlparameter is of type object so u need to cast it explicitly to the target type.

No Actually i am using the OracleClient here. Its a simple sp where i have insert statement if i use ExecuteNonQueryOutParam it works fine but this method return only one output parameter but i need to get two output paramters.
I think i have some problem with Enterprise Library.

For which class u execute this method "ExecuteNonQueryOutParam"?
I am asking coz i could not find any method with this name for OracleCommand class.
There are two methods for this class to execute storedprocedures.
1. cmd.ExecuteNonQuery()
2. cmd.ExecuteOracleNonQuery()
I think after using this methods you will be able to get the parameter values as we get in the case of SQL server.
Try the way I suggested and let me know if it doesnt work.
and did u tried to execute your SP in query analyzer?
What's the response there?

Do you have any loops in your SP? Check your connection and try running the SP from Query Editor to check if it returns quickly.
(Or)
Set the Connection Timeout property. Maybe the server was too busy and has queued your connection request.

I am using DataView control in asp.net 2.0.
I am explicitly binding the DataView control's DataSource to DataTable.
When I edit the values I want to update the DataTable.

Hi,
Sorry but I doubt about any dataview control in asp.net 2.0.
There are controls like Gridview, DetailsView, FormView, MultiView etc. But I think there is no control named DataView.
There is a class "DataView" in namespace System.Data which represents a view of System.Data.DataTable class.
and that "DataView" class does not have any property called "DataSource".
Please clearly elaborate your requirement and situation and also tell us what code u have tried so far.

I am not using Sql or any other data source.
I am using DataTable. I need to use a drop down list inside a GridView.

Why don't you create dynamic Validators along with your TextBoxes? Just create appropriate Validator controls for each TextBox control you creating, assign it's properties and voila.

Hi,
Sorry you need to use datalist control instead of repeater control.
1. Put a datalist control on your page and in ItemTemplate create an Image control and set its ImageUrl property to the folder image path.
2. Use System.IO.Directory.GetDiretory(urdirectorypath) to get the directories in "urdirectorypath" and bind it to the datalist and Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you open the .net 2.0 you will see an additional section in the toolbar
named Ajax Extensions.
1) Drap and drop the scriptmanager control to page
2) Drap and drop the updatepanel to the page
3) Add combo box inside the updatepanel, then write the coding,
Now, only the control inside the updatepanel is refresh. so password field
will not be clear.
Note:-
The web.config file has to be modified for making it to work using ajax,
otherwise, the page will work normally i.e entire page is posted to server
The sample web.config can be got from the website or from your local machine.
