I have an asp .net page that does not work propery when it is displayed in an iframe in another site. The other site was done in Dream Weaver. I think, but not sure, the problem is cause by session id's in the asp .net page losing their values. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Sorry couldn't resist that  Instead of using session id's could you pass them across to the ipage as page parameters? i use a javascript function to do it like, but you can do it in your own way...here is my javascript code just in case.
document.getElementById('uiRecipientList').src = encodeURI('SupportCustomerSearch.aspx?search='+strSearchTerm+'&code='+strCode);
in the above the uiRecipientList is the id of my Iframe. Hope that helps.

i have simply connect the data and insert the data and show GridView first TextBox and a Command Button enter the Data into text and click command Button and Submit the data insert the Data into DataBase after insert the dataBase when refresh the data and each time data inserted in the data base.

Each refresh data will be posted to the server. So it will be reentered in to DB. To avoid this you can redirect to the same page and that will clear the posted data

Try
Response.Redirect("MyCurPage.aspx")
in side your button handler.
It should be last line...
"MyCurPage.aspx" is your current page.

First I would ask why do you want to do this? The way iis works is based off the extension that is requested, so it knows where to send the request to get processed.

Hi,
I have a multiline textbox.I want the scrollbar of the textbox to be visible only if i enter many characters i.e. only if it enters the second line.
If it has a very small string then the scrollbar should not be visible.
How can i achieve this?

Hi,
im trying to localize some pages and it all works fine with my normal aspx files but i wanted to do the same with a menu bar saved as ascx, i have created a public class called initializeculture and have been inheriting this class for all the aspx files and that works perfect, but when i tried to do this wit the menu i got the following message!
"Make sure that the class defined in this code file matches the 'inherits' attribute, and that it extends the correct base class (e.g. Page or UserControl)."
I changed code from
Partial Class MaiMenuControl
Inherits System.Web.UI.Page
Partial Class MaiMenuControl
Inherits initializeculture
any help would be much appreciated,

here, bottom of page, there is a inputbox, but after you type a word, you have click, then you have to click again to navigate url. How can solve this by "one click"

At first click you are assigning the value of PostBackUrl.
So it will take effect on text click only.
Did you get the problem.
You can use Response.Redirect inside the button click.

We have an asp.net(Framework 1.1,VB.NET) application hosted on the developer PC itself.
Windows XP Professional
512 MB RAM
Pentium 4 2.4 GHZ
We built the project in release mode and the web.config also having debug mode set to false
In one screen, around 420 HTML Controls are built with some styles(based upon some validations). The validataions goes into a loop calling methods at multiple levels. Even for a single user(I mean localhost), the performance of the processor(CPU Usage) goes to 100% and comes down.
What are the things that need to be checked and what are the measures we can take
I searched google and got many links. I think I can get better answers from this forum

I guess 420 HTML Controls means 420 Server Controls (label, datagrid, button etc) In that case you should really take a look at caching! Rendering 420 Server controls uses cpu! Split the page in several usercontrols if you need to partial cache tha page.
Maybe you could post some code?

There are many causes that leads to high memory usage and CPU conspumtion.
First of all it depends on your approach .
Do we need to have server side validation even we can do it at client side ?
You are using 420 html controls in one page ? i think you should divide them by making different controls .......
Can you tell What exatly are you doing ? Any bussiness logic ?
Are you using COM component ?
Are you closing all the instances ?

Anytime I hear 100% cpu utilization I think loop problem. Often infinite loop. I would remove your looping validation and see if the CPU utilization goes down. If it does then you know your validation loop is the problem.
