Hi all! Can anybody tell me, how I can jupm to other page of my ASP.NET project. I try something like this System.Diagnostics.Process.Start( <page_name> );, but nothing happened.

Why dont you use Response.Redirect or Server.Transfer?

This one start a new process at server and it depends on WinForm Application or Console Application.Use Response.Redirect();P

hi friends
on aspx form i have one server button ( Save ) and one HTML button (Canel)
On Save button values of text box store in database
on Cancel button I Just invisble one panel
both buttons are working fine
when i press save button and
when values of text box already exist in table
it gives me an Sql Error 2627
i shown error desc in label
now i want to cancel it means invisible panel
but it doesn't work here
how can i make it invisible in such condition

I don't think that cancel button has to do anything with that. What is happening when you are clicking cancel button after the error is displayed.

after clicking html button
i need to invisble panel
run time label is also invisble
when error comes label gets visible
and i shown the error on label
when ever error is shown and i press the cancel button
panel doesn't get invisible

What code have you written for hiding the panel? Is it a javascript?

I seem to remember that you can use the HEIGHT="100%" attribute for this.

Hi,
I have a website where Windows Authentication is used to log in the site. I have used ASP.NET 2.0. I need to add a button "Logout" that will close the session and bring the windows authentication window in response to click event.
Any Suggestion Please!

In the Click Event of the Logout button call this
FormsAuthentication.SignOut()
FormsAuthentication.RedirectToLoginPage()
First statement will destroy the authentication ticket, next statement will redirect to the page, which is specified in the authentication section of web.config file.

But I have used Windows Authentication, not Form Authentication.

Hi guys/ gals,
I am working on ASP.NET 2.0. I have careted a datagrid in which ihave around 3 template columns each containing Checkboxes.
I want to update the record based on that checkboxes.
Like if there are three columns with name Status, Permissions, Active. so when i click the checkbox of the first row of status it should only change the status of that particular record in db with that status.
I am confused how I can do it. plss reply me urgently... If anybody can help me with the code..that will be great..
Please help me..

When are you trying to updated the database? Suppose if the button is outside datagrid then you need to loopthrough all the items and find the checkbox and then depending on the selection status you can update the database.

It is inside the datagrid. Its placed in the template column of the datagrid..
