Hi all...
I have two textboxes in a magic ajax Panel..
One textbox is to get the cardnumber(txtcardnumber) and another one is to get the PIN number(txtpinno)...Using this textboxes i have to get the corressponding values and then click the button(btnbuy)to proceed further and clear button(btnclear) to clear values in the text boxes.. Everything is ok till this ,but after the process is completed the clear button is not firing..Any one help in this regard..

I assume you are using ASP.NET 2.0. When creating new ASPX page, visual studio will ask where you want to place the code. Single file or separate file. Choose single file , In this you can write all your code in ASPX file. Use the connection as usual here.

You can put it in your Web.config file in connectionStrings section , if .net 1.1 does not contain it, you can put it in appSetting part. You can see in MSDN how to read these settings from web.config.

I am using a C# custom dll in my biztalk project, that dll is deployed in Global assembly. This dll reading some value from App.Config file using ConfigurationManager class.
But after deploying the dll to Global assembly, how will this assembly get the value from app.config file or anything needs to do to deploy this app.config file into somewhere....?

Hi,
I am using a custom Membership provider, and when a user is registered I want to send him/her an e-mail to complete the registration process. On codeplex, after you have regsitered they send the following email with a link in it:
https://www.codeplex.com/UserAccount/ConfirmRegistration.aspx?UserName=myusername&ConfirmationCode=rdJCzEfKcRvshBqa1YBYQr
Normally just after you have registered the system signs you in automatically. How do prevent this? I want the user to sign in manually.
Please can someone advise me?

It depends the programmer who did it. If you don't want the system to be logged in automatically, don't create the sessions automatically after the registration process. Redirect user to login page to login manually. If you want to send a confirmation link then make a page for confirmation. Generate a link with a unique id to identify the customer. When the page is loaded change active flag in the DB which allows them to login.

I don't think there is anyway to implement.
Although their names looks very similar.
I think you should change a method to do this.
Because one use Image Stream,another(WebControl.Image) use a ImageUrl.
You've already got a System.Drawing.Image object,you can save it for a temporary file,then give the WebControl.Image instance correct path.
Overload the Page's Render,after base.Render() then delete the temporary file.

Here i am using javascript for adding two different values(txt1,txt2) and the sum shd come when we click on the third txt3.
Here i am able to give onle integer values.If i want the same for decimal values,how i have to give the code???

you can use it when you are using a drop down, and you want to change some data on your page when value in drop down is changed. you can it like this with radio button and check box too.
