Your question doesn't make any sense at all. SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. There's nothing to change.
Are you asking how to change which SMTP mail server you're using? BTW: That's for outgoing mail, not incomming. Incomming normally uses POP3.

There is no command line utility to change which server an SMTP client is looking for.
Gateway? Are you talking about a TCP/IP gateway address? It also sounds like your using the wrong acronym - I think you're trying to talk about an SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) server. But, again, you're question doesn't make any sense...

Can i develop the dynamic crystal reports.I meant I don't want to add the database in my crystal reports .All i want is that I want to add the database,tables to my crystal reports dynamically.Currently i am doing crystal reports with the help of (Standard,cross tab,mail merge) with the help of wizard.But wizard is not required.

the object myclass has events defined within. when certain actions are done within that class you'll see a line that says for example
"raiseevent click()" in the object that has the line withevents. you will have a routine:

If you have Google's toolbar intalled, you'll notice that in Internet Explorer 7 the right-click context menu shows their "G" favicon/icon next to their context menu insertion. Does anyone know how to do this? Many new applications are doing this. Primarily, I assume, because it helps their text insertions stand out from the increasing number of apps which install commands to the context menu.
Also would like to know how to add separators above & below context items.
Any help would be most appreciated.

This will create the registry key in the correct location, However as far as launching your application using the context menu item goes, i cannot help you:

I have a little confusion in serialization.
I know serialization is saving an object and the current values of all it's
properties using serialization.
I mean what is the use of storing the object .What is the advantage of serialization.

serialization allows you to convert an object into a string(xml) and transfer that object to another source(computer/server) via webservice or tcp.
an example of why could save one...you could write something to check a timestamp and if it's the same why go through the hassle(queries, transactions) again of populating the object when you could just read it from a file.

What would be the point of adding File -> Save support to your apps without it? Serialization isn't just for sending objects between computers.

I know you can use serialization to save some of the settings/properties of some controls such as combo-boxes etc ... but can you use it to save the settings of an ActiveX/ocx control?
If you can .. how do you go about it?

Hey guys,
I'm making an IRC client and decided to muck around with the scripting GUI. I'm basing it on Visual Studio 2005/Orcas' interface, with the line numbers and the auto-complete style. I decided I would like to add the collapsible region type thing to it, for each function and custom areas. I tried looking at Sharpdevelop, as it has the same thing, though it's a little complicated for my liking.
I also took a look at Fireball (I think that's the name), another editor which has regions in it, though a lot is in Spanish and somewhat confusing, though the regions are less buggy than on Sharpdevelop.
What I was thinking, is that, store the text in memory and then draw it on the textarea, though I think I'd need to set the text on the control so it can handle the cut, copy, paste, navigation, etc. When I do that, it doesn't draw the text at all, only what the RTB.Text equals.
If someone could please point me in the right direction or if they have looked through the Sharpdevelop and/or Fireball code (as it's C# and I don't know that all too well) and help, I would greatly appreciate it.
