You can write an event for Label_click by just double clicking the Label in the Visual Studio 2005 or whatever IDE you use. This creates an event handler for the specified Label click.
You don't have to be AFRAID!

All i know is that you need to do forms authentication to be able to talk to active directory, or am i wrong?
Unfortunaltely, i have never used this concept before and i am clueless about it. If you can redirect me to some usefull sites that covers the topic.

use CSS for that.. define the link property to be not underlined..
or just edit the label tags in HTML view.

when i execute my local web application the mail is going to gmail,yahoo if am not specifying mail.smptserver.
when i am specifying mail.smtpserver it's not working..ie,mail is not going...
but when i uploaded in net if i am not specifying mail.smtpserver it's showing error and when i give mail.smtpserver the mail is going to the emailid in that server but not going to yahoo mailid and all...
it's urgent for me to solve....
can anyone help me........

Hi all!
I just converted a .net 1.1 web project to .net 2.0 and now I'm getting a strange problem:
I have a custom class implementing IPrincipal to store the user identity in Context.User, sample code below. After storing the Principal i redirect from the login-page. When I retrieve the Context.User on the next page it is of type GenericPrincipal????? The user information is still there but of course not with my custom methods. I guess I could rewrite the code to use GenericPrinfipal instead, but why does this happen??? It did not happen before the conversion (and as far as I can think of I didn't make any other changes to the code).
I use Forms-authentication (using Windows authentication gives me the WindowsPrincipal when retrieving Context.User - i.e. the useridentity of the useraccount running the app, not of the user logged in to the web app).
I feel there has to be a logical explanation for this and I am grateful for any help!

Why are you using the stored procedure there with ds.tables there you need to specify the table name or index of the table.

You are placing a stored procedure in the place of an Index.
If you want to call a stored procedure, there are other neat ways of doing it.
Like using a stored procedure in a SQLDATASOURCE.
You don't have to be AFRAID!

I think, you don't have the permission to save the file to the specified location ("C:\temp\"). Set write permission to IUSR_YOURMACHINENAME user to that folder.
If you still have the same problem, post the complete StackTrace information. The Error Message you posted is not sufficient to debug the Error.

use the paging feature of the gridview.. specify the page size to be an integer..
or else u may also ask the user for the page size to be.. like u`ll see here on codeproject on the top..

You can have a simple setup like
First Previous Next Last
It should work fine. Moreover you can give the user the ability to set the no. of rows displayed in a page.

I am having two asps pages, parent page Name: showMap.asp and child page Name: Tiled1.asp, the child page is the source page of Iframe,
that is in parent page.
In parent page, i am calling one javascript function for every 30 seconds to load the image, At the end of the function, I am calling child page
javascript function using following code
parent.frames['mytext1'].TileToCenter(StTileRow, StTileCol, pointX, pointY);
For the First Time, it's working fine. For the Next Refreshment, Javascript error is coming due to the above line and showing in status bar like below:
Object doesn't support this property or method
One Important thing is, In Child page, For displaying HTML Portion, i am using javascript function(TileToCenter) like

What could be the problem? Is this error comes becoz of putting HTML code in Javascript i.e(document.write("");)??. Give me the Solutions for this one
