Hello!
I open an ACCESS table, this is a very big table, for open this table I use a OLE DB
with ADO Classes wrapping...but...memory problem!
I open a big table with this istruction:

When I performe the open istruction the memory comes literally eaten.<br />
The program in order to execute the table begins to have use of of all the RAM memory.<br />

Ther'is a BUG in the ADO Provider or other FIXED ?<br />

The former uses MFC while the latter does not. The difference is for the developer, not the end-user.

MFC's are wrapper classes around the Win32 API. So it ease you the developpement of a GUI based application. If you start a win32 app, you'll need to write everything yourself.

I would seriously question why the interviewer would ask such a silly question. At the very least, it is comparing apples and oranges.
The MFC App Wizard is part of the IDE that creates a boiler-plate MFC application. A Win32 Application is just that - an application written with the Win32 SDK.

Hello cumunity,
is there any way to check what filetype is reading,
i read all files from a folder, and i need to know
what types are in them!?
The only way i know is to read the character
from the end to first occurrence of an point, with
Right(int nNum); and check for the extension,
if its .html or .htm or .js or .txt or .jpg etc.
Is there any bether way to check for file type?

The PathFindExtension() shell API will find the extension for you.

Well I like to say two things to you first you can show for each file its extension its very good for exmaple bmp files,excel files,...
second on the filename column you must write filename without extension and on the extension write extension and a column for show icon.And when user hold cursor on the a row it must shows a tooltip of detaily,(I said two things but write three suggestion;P)

I wrote a MMC console, my problem is :
When I open property pages from SCOPE, then modify properties and clic on "Apply", MMC console is refreshed and property pages are not at topmost position anymore.
I would like that property pages stay always at topmost position.
When I open property pages from RESULT, then modify properties and clic on "Apply", MMC console is refreshed and property pages are still at topmost position.
If, for each property page concerned, I set "System Modal" and "Set Foreground" to "True", problem still exists.

I found a solution :
The problem came from use of "IConsole2::SelectScopeItem ()" in MMCN_PROPERTY_CHANGE, MMCN_REFRESH and MMCN_VIEW_CHANGE notifications.
So, in MMCN_REFRESH and MMCN_VIEW_CHANGE notifications, I replaced call of "IConsole2::SelectScopeItem ()" by "Notify ( MMCN_SHOW, TRUE, param, pComponentData, pComponent, type );"
In MMCN_PROPERTY_CHANGE notification, I replaced call of "IConsole2::SelectScopeItem ()" by "CComPtr < IDataObject > pDataObject;HRESULT hRes = GetDataObject ( & pDataObject, CCT_SCOPE );m_spConsole->UpdateAllViews ( pDataObject, NULL, NULL );hr = S_OK;"
Now everything is OK.

It is the dll that contains all the MFC stuff (or at least a part of it).

It simply contains a bunch of functionalities that your MFC applications exploit. Without this DLL, your MFC application won't work (an exception may be an application that was statically linked to MFC DLLs and built). You hate google, don't you?
