Hi Sandeep

I got a error in Hosting server only. Please see the error. My problem is the hosting server didnt allow me to execute System.IO.Directory.GetLogicalDrives().

Dont worry about code. its related with security problem. Smile | :)

Don't know but may be you don't have access/permission to open the drive
please right click the drive do to properties ,security tab and see ASP.NET MACHINE ACCOUNT and Debugger is added with previlages
but i am still confused what you have to do if you specify we can work it out

nested repeater

I am working with nested repeater and i have 3 repeaters nested one under the other

the one nested under the master, can be manipulated through a normal _OnItemDataBound event, but to reach the repeaters underneath the second level is not working

i tried to add this:

private void rptStockCategories_OnItemDataBound(object sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs e)

{

if (e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.Item || e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.AlternatingItem)

{

((Repeater)e.Item.FindControl("rptStockCategories2")).ItemDataBound += new RepeaterItemEventHandler(rptStockCategories3_OnItemDataBound);

but i think it only add the event, but wont runn it

any suggestions?

Hi
You need not attach event handler at run time for inner controls.

You can do it design time

If you are using C#, then Repeater's ItemDataBound event will be as

protected void Repeater1_ItemDataBound(object sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs e)
{
	//Repeater 1 gets fired
}

Make sure that in the HTML code has 'OnItemDataBound' and set it as 'Repeater1_ItemDataBound'

Now for inner repeater, copy the above code for Repeater1's event and rename it to second repeater. So second repeater event will be like this.

protected void Repeater2_ItemDataBound(object sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs e)
{
	//Repeater 2 gets fired
}

and in your HTML code will be as 'OnItemDataBound' and set it as 'Repeater1_ItemDataBound'

Repeat the same for next inner repeater.

So, inner controls' events automatically gets fired.

IIS in windows server 2003 is showing Stopped status like

Default Website(Stopped).

On attempt to restart it, the error below shows
"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"

from cmd prompt i run
iisreset
the problem still persists and i cannot even display my aspx page from iis, it shows page cannot display

I have checked the asp version, and set teh anonymous user with windows authentication, it has not solved my problem.

There are libraries that have been set up so you can use them to do things. I.e SQLHelper from the Microsoft Data Access Block.

Then there is a Caching Application block that helps you to implement cachin in your application An Overview

on login form i have two textboxes for login name and password and one ch box for remember me .
on checking remember me i am storing the login name and password in cookies.
on next visit i am able to see the login name but not password .Password textbox is blank.
on debugging i can see the password but it is not visible.
If i change the password textbox to simple textbox (single line) it is visible.
pls help me out.

i can tell about data set . dataset is local cache stored on the client site . with the help of data adapter values are selected and fill in the dara set and connection with the databasec is then broken so you need to consulyt the database every time....like that
