I am using capicom and doing the encryption , the algorithm is 3DES. I am encryting a value and using this value I am doing an encryted login to a site.
I have set the source of the iframe as this url , in which the encrypted value is passed as a query string.
My problem is , I am able to view the page some times and other insatnces I get a "Page Cannot be displayed " message i.e. Error 404 .
Is this due to some problem in encrytion or decrytion. Or is it due to something that is related a .Net while doin an encrypted login.
I am not sure how to trace at who's end the problem is.
Have any body faced a problem like this, please help

I am using Stored Procedures. There i pass a parameter of type datetime. From front end i pass now.date. it gives error. can i format the date which i get by NOW.DATE. I want in the form of "dd/MM/yyyy" and it gives in the form "MM/dd/yyyy".

Hi
i'm using asp javascript call back to retrieve
a text from the server and i want to highlight
the keywords in the retrieved text using a
highlight function written in ac# script on the client.
Now i have a problem in calling the highlight function
after getting control back from the server in the client
script, the highlight function is never called after getting back!!
here's the javasript code:

If you are sure that you can, then creating also will be easy. Start VS2003. Start new webservice project. Write whatever methods you want. Methods you want to be called from some other project set WebMethod() attribute. Now bulid it. Run it , copy the location from browsers address bar.

Next is using it, Create one more project, add webreference, paste the url there. Then it will display the methods you created on webservice. Complete adding reference. In codebehind create object for the webservice u added, and call the functions as u do earlier....

When you create one page, by default it will be optimized for IE. IE is using some proprietary methods and css properties. So better use w3 standards when writing css. Firefox will work perfectly with that standards

In order to follow W3C standards, you HTML source code should be validated, that is, all attributes should be enclosed in double quotes, tags are not properly cloased and so on. You can do this manually.
Go to design page of your web page. Right click on the Visual Studio Tool Bar, check 'HTML Source Editing'.
By default 'Internet Explorer 6.0' will be selected in the drop down list of 'Target schema for validation'. Change it to XHTML 1.0 Transitional (Netscape, Opera, IE).
To validate your HTML source, click the button 'Check page for accessibility' next to the drop down list box. In the Error List Box, you need to fix all the validation errors.

There are some tools for converting to XHTML1.1 but take a backup of source code before updating in it.

i am using try catch loop. and i have written " Label5.Text = ex.Source & " " & ex.Message" this in catch. it displays thread was aborted.
and every time the try catch loop runs whatever we have written in catch executes everytime.
how to solve this prob
