you can use ftp access from ms-dos in a hidden process, you system must create a bat file with the ftp commands to upload these file, example
ftp -A -i -s:ftp_file_instructions.txt ftp_address
where
-A anonymous access, sorry, i don't know how access with permisses
-i no confirmation to each operation (yes or no to upload/download files)
-s param to describe the text file with instructions, this text file contain each ftp command in the current session.

Hi friends,
I had asked a question in the thread previously (Custom Bar chart - Guidance needed). I think my question was a bit complicated and no one answered :->. Let me rephrase it.
I want to create an object, a rectangle / box, with its own properties like name, color etc. I also want to get the properties from a database. How do I make it. Can anyone point me to any article or posts in this forum or on the web?

Probably because there isn't anny one article that show you how to build everything you want in this control. For now, start simple. Just create a custom control that draws what you want with a few of properties. From there, you can add data binding support.

i hv a form which xactly looks like a notepad.
it has menus like File & Edit. wen clicked on File it has options OPEN, SAVE, & SAVE AS.
wen clicked on Open Menu it takes the data only of *.txt files and the data is shown in textbox.
the problem is i want data of *.doc file that need to be shown in textbox so
how to convert data stored in *.doc file directly to *.txt file
plzzz reply as soon as possible

Hello,
I used two Timer Controls.
one is in main project, the other is in Usercontrol.
(I made UserControl with Timer control)
This UserControl has included in project , not by ocx.
But, sometimes this timer in UserControl has stoped and restarted automatically.
I don't know why!
Anyone know about it?

There's nothing in this code that does anything with timers. How are you stopping and starting the timers?? Are you doing this based on some condition that has to be met? Have you instrumented and/or traced your code to see what it's actually doing?

You are not clearly stating what you want. Try to be more specific. If you need a Button named as SUBMIT, so go for it. Define another button for submit and place the code inside of this button's click event. When you click it, it will be executed.

So how is your application going to know which operation is supposed to be performed??

Vs2005 projects aren't compatible with previous versions of Visual Studio.Net...

You can't go backwards like that. VS2005 projects wont load in VS2003. You can go the other way though, you can open a VS2003 project in 2005.

Hi,
I've been trying to list all the registry values in a certain key, but I keep getting an "Object Reference Not Set to an Instance of an Object" error on the first line. My code is:

Take the slash in front of "\Software\..." out. It should be "Software\...".
Your code is ASSUMING that OpenSubKey is actually returning something. It'll help if you checked GetValues (that's a bad variable name BTW) for an object before you try and use it in your loop. You might also want to get the values from the Run key you opened and not from the root of Local Machine. Also, you have to close the key you opened when you're done with it.
