With proxy, it always gives a single IP. How about a sessionCookie?

Hi, thanks for the reply. How to use sessionCookie on such scenario? Can you assist me further?
The way I see sessionCookie is more like a lightweight repository storing data. How can it be used to send remote popups to all my users in the intranet with proxy enabled?
Thanks.

Is there any way of adding a button to a web page dinamically? Say, a button that when clicked creates another button in the page? I know this is possible in a Windows Form, but not sure about a ASP.NET page.
Thanks in advance.

yes, you can actually have a panel and put the control in there at the run time

//In the ButtonClick event of the first button load the newbutton
protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
loadnewbutton = new Button();
loadnewbutton.Text = "NewButton";
loadnewbutton.ID = "newButton";
loadnewbutton.Click += new System.EventHandler(this.loadnewbutton_Click);
this.PlaceHolder1.Controls.Add(loadnewbutton);
}
protected void loadnewbutton_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

Just create an instance of the control you want and add it to the Controls collection of another control (a Panel or Placeholder is usually best). If you want user controls you can use the CreateUserControl method of the Page object. Note however that dynamic controls aren't persisted accross postbacks, you have to manage that yourself or check this out: DynamicControlsPlaceholder.aspx

hi Rajiv
use DayRender Event of Calender control..
it gets fired every time when a new day control is created in calender
just check the current month or day or date in this event and make it disable if it is less than current month.
try this.
Thanks & Regards

Instead of adding onclick event in RowDataBound, try adding it in ItemCreated one.....
Try like this :
private void Grdplace_ItemCreated(object sender, System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridItemEventArgs e)
{
e.Item.Attributes.Add("onClick","RowClicked('"+ e.Item.Cells[0].Text +"')");
}
I've used c#.net,Please cahnge as VB.NET

Hi,
Can anybody please let me know the exact differences between SOAP and HTTP protocals. thanks a lot in advance
Thanks and Regards
Venkat
|
|

HTTP is the protocol of the web, go look it up at WikiPedia for the ins and outs of it. SOAP is an XML web service protocol (one of many) and runs on top of HTTP. You can't really compare them, they have different purposes.
Come to think of it you can look them both up at WikiPedia for extensive explanations.
