Questionc# / COM / Excel Automation Add-Ins Pin

Hi.
I am using VS C# Express Edition and am unable to get an Automation Add in registered/recognised in Excel.

I have referenced an example on this site

I have implemented the following two settings for my class library project as required.

Assembly button / Click make COM visible.
Register for COM Interop

Although I can see the Add In in Excel I can’t access its functions and get the mscoree.dll error: having #NAME# in the cell references. I believe this error is rectified by Checking Shared Add-in Support Update for the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (KB908002) (Note You must enable this prerequisite separately for both Debug and Release builds). However the Publish option / Prerequisite button does not appear under the property list for Class Libraries in VS 2005 Express Edition (although it does appear for a Standard project). Without setting this I cannot get the component to function in Excel. Am I missing something by not seeing the Publishing / Prerequisite options in the Class Library project ?

Please help. Am desperate...

Thanks in advance…
